That outside route play does work sometimes but theres a better play for that in the Seahawks playbook where the receiver will just camp at the line. Bc ive thrown a fair amount of int where DBs will bait that route

Everyone runs this play lately or some variation of it. Very difficult to defend ill only get turnovers on it sometimes and thats by running cover 3, pressing the wrs, i take my linebacker on the bunch side and put him in man cov (on any guy, as long as its not the crosser going to the left side), take my other linebacker and move him to the bunch side and manually jam a receiver from LOS. They spam the play so i keep doing this and ill continuously change my flats from 0-5-15, eventually they mess up most times

The play is like a funny wheel route verticals, in this clip the guy id cover is megatron using my lb. The lb on the bunch form side gets put in man and I user the far side linebacker and pull him to bunches and would jam megatron off LOS + follow his cross route

I just run cover 3 and play user on the strong side slot corner to shut down those wheel routes. If you shade your secondary inside they usually throw to that wheel further at outside and it’s an easy lurk.

Dont get me wrong, im not against finding plays that work for you. But how do yall have fun running the same shi over and over and over😂. Its why i can run whats referred to as "money" or "cheese" plays. It gets boring eventually. Im not hating, just a genuine question of how that doesnt get boring for you
