Mine had no instructions. But how do you do it for clothing if wanting to say keep sleeves up without having that long piece hanging? Just received and it came with 1000 of them like yours but the plastic piece when pressing into clothing is too long. Thank you!

Please make sure the plastic sleeve of tags are pressed firmly down before turning the needle. The needles are can be temperamental.
