Players lack that hunger when they know they're not gonna get benched. I wouldve been started Mac Jones & Elijah cooks over Gabe. It doesnt have to be permanent, but you learn to appreciate being on the field more, when you once was starting, now you're coming off the bench.
These types of games really suck when you have a defense as bad as ours. Because it forces Trevor in the offense to be damn near perfect in order to win that’s win players on offense start to press and try to do too much. If our defense was capable of even slowing them down, then it might be different but I have zero faith in them.
