I don't even understand why it is a debate between AB and Julio. AB is great in his own way but I can't even come close to doing the things Julio is capable of doing
Unguardable Goat we don't even know if he's career would be the same if he had Julio size he would have just as many injuries maybe more and worst. Because of the way defenders would have to tackle him him to bring him down.
Exactly plus Julio dominates match ups vs the top CBs in football, he's had monster games vs Patrick Peterson and Richard Sherman, his best game this past year was vs J.Norman in Washington, Byron Jones was the hottest CB this past season and Julio had a big game vs Dallas, he always has monster games when playing against the best corners, I can only remember one time he got shutdown and that was last year vs X.Rhodes in Minnesota
Julio Jones = Best WR in all categories. Often we'll have 'great' insane receivers who have say ,.. Great hands, with insane speed and route running. Some 'great' receivers who have great hands, great body control,.. and all sort of iterations of a 'complete' football player. However, Julio Jones checks ALL the boxes for A+ insane skill level. Speed (4.3x) , Check! - Height - 6'3-6'4" Check! -- Size (225lbs) Check! - Strength -- Check! -- Body Control -- (Refs will call catch in favor of Jones because he almost ALWAYS , somehow, is able to contort his body into getting both feet in) -- Check! -- Blocking ability [HUGE overlooked quality in a WR -- Jones is among the best at blocking and is unselfish doing it.] -- Check! Hands -- (Come on.. ) - Check! --- Ability to come off a press coverage and beat his man -- Check! Football "IQ" -- Check! Is there anything Julio Jones doesn't do to the highest level as a WR? Honestly.. I can't really find a flaw in his technique, build, strength, hands, etc.
GuessTechGaming he really is phenomenal. I argue he's the greatest of all time. Some have said rice or moss but Julio is simply an equivalent player and a better physical specimen.
Well put. Julio is 'as good' as the other GOATS,.. he just has been gifted with an even more athletic, taller and stronger body. Which allows him to be ultimately the GOATS GOAT. Julio needs to be on a super bowl team imho to solidify his status at some point. It's tough to really get in the GOAT category after retirement if you haven't won a superbowl. Although I highly doubt the falcons are interested in getting rid of the best draft pick they've had a LONG time. However, if the money is right.. you never know.
GuessTechGaming who knows. They should have had one last year. We'll see how Atlanta looks this season. Maybe they are the Super Bowl caliber team he needs
Yeah,.. I just have a feeling the Falcons won't make it back to the Super Bowl for a long while. If you had Julio Jones talent at QB for them.. then hell yeah.. but he's just a GOAT receiver lol. I don't buy into Matt Ryan honestly.. he choked out an auto win after that lead they produced in superbowl -- I blame the Coaching staff primarily for it,.. but Ryan could have played it smarter as well to protect that lead and mathematically eliminated the patriots chances to come back and tie and ultimately win. If Ryan just let the clock burn on every snap they would have technically won given how the Patriots got the last score in the final moments of the game to TIE. Anyhow, hopefully I'm proven wrong and Ryan is the best QB in the league this year.
GuessTechGaming I hope so too. I blame Shanahan their OC for that game. They should have just run the ball when they were up but instead they wanted to try and throw it deep. Didn't make sense. Ryan should have checked out of it but he obviously didn't. Coaches are to blame in my opinion. Matt Ryan didn't lose the game for them, definitely not from an athletic/qb perspective. Rather if he is to blame it's because he never changed the play to run and like you said, burn more clock. It's a shame, I'm still pissed about it and I hope they don't end up like Carolina when they lost the SB. We'll know after the first 3 weeks of regular season if they have the SB "hangover" effect or not.
yea uh no, Ryans throws were behind, late and under thrown at times...Julio made Ryan look good on a good amount on these throws and used strength to snatch the ball and break tackles.
Im a falcons fan and all they had to do just like the seahawks was run the ball inside five minutes of 4th quarter could have ran the clock very low by running then kicked a field goal and gone up 11. :(
...incredible athlete first and foremost then add the quality receiver skills then add the strength and size factor...it's like he was made in a lab...lol
I'm siding with Julio because I think Julio can make all the catches AB makes but don't think AB could have made that super bowl catch.------ Doesn't matter anyways because TB12 showed who's boss
@@xkcash_238 nahhh if u put ab wit matt Ryan he b less productive than julio. Julio wit a qb like big ben extending the play and play in that sorry division he have 2000 yard season already. especially if he cry for the ball like ab. These highlights show who better, ab need pick plays for his lil ass
That would be remembered as the greatest super bowl catch ever if they would've won.
That super bowl catch was suppose to be the greatest catch in super bowl history.
Marcus Rushin and even today I’m yelling at the screen “now run the fucking ball!!!””
You can thank Mr.Shanahan for that one
Being an Auburn fan I was thankful when he left the sec. When ATL got him, I became a Julio fan.....
NO QUARTER
LOL Roll Tide! :p
I don't even understand why it is a debate between AB and Julio. AB is great in his own way but I can't even come close to doing the things Julio is capable of doing
If Ab has the height of Julio he would be a monster

Julio and AJ Green are the best 2 WR's in the league. Julio#1

Not only tha julio isnt a cry baby
He's a walking video game character
Man oh man that sideline toe-tipping catch was beautiful sheeesh...Julio catch like a ballerina...and THATS A GOOD THING.
You can train 8 days a week and never will you become as great as JJ. He’s a gift to the game

Simply a defensive nightmare
Julio Jones is the best widereciever in atlanta!!! Go Falcons!!!
Best sideline receiver in the game since Cris Carter.
everyone is giving Julio jones all the credit how bout those perfect passes by matt ryan like if you agree. Still Julio is goat
LOOKITS Majic Matt Ryan underthrew Julio thrive deep when he had 300 yards it should have been 350+ 3 td easily if Matt Ryan had power
yea uh no, Ryans throws were behind, late and under thrown at times...Julio made Ryan look good on a good amount on these throws and used strength to snatch the ball and break tackles.
@@lettucepreeysports1141 A lot of those throws were on purpose because he knew JJ could catch them and the CB would not be an issue.
@@jdawg7388 doesnt mean the qb can slack off, and under throw him.
0:57 Aaron Rodgers like oh shit.
Best receiver in the WORLD:) Best receiver who ever lived:)
batmandeltaforce agreed🐐
Moss is the GOAT and Rice had that longevity smh
Should have gotten more credit for the last catch
Julio is my man
Julio is crazy
0:50 most underrated Julio catch, all the defenders were like how do we stop him if he catches that
The absolute BEST.
Beast best some many ways to describe him
Beast
Imagine michael Vick and julio Jones combo
They would’ve won the sb. Ryan does too much dumb shit
Bout time you got ma nigga up here lol preciate it ✊
Quis123 np anytime bro Happy 4th
4:28 Starting of a Grown MAN playing in a Kids game!! Julio is a DAWG man!! THE BEST #1
Donald Diver next and good video bro
Atlanta falcons has the best receivers Julio,Gabriel, and sanu who agrees?
only Julio and Sanu, not Gabriel
Julio's the best! Would be nice to see him with some celebrations. lol
T. Will92 lol Julio be working on his skill when there working on there celebrations
Cool
Im a falcons fan and all they had to do just like the seahawks was run the ball inside five minutes of 4th quarter could have ran the clock very low by running then kicked a field goal and gone up 11. :(
Jesse Rumsey, that's what every fan with common sense said.. I was pissed.
It was staged.
Yes the dumbest shit ever
My Nephew is a "BEAST"!!!!
Goat
Julio jones and Kyle Shannahan on the offensive side is why atlanta made it to the SB
I don't know about best Wr but he's definitely in my top 5.
Edit: On second thought, I think its a tie between AB and Julio
Nothin a tie about ab and julio. Big ben extending the play wit julio will b nasty
imagine julio on the bengals with aj green and chad johnson
Is their really a debate of who the best receiver is
My man leave him alone 👧
we don't need to see challenge reviews in a highlight
The sidelines is his home
...incredible athlete first and foremost then add the quality receiver skills then add the strength and size factor...it's like he was made in a lab...lol
Most complete wr ever
4:50 well he tried 😂😂
The buccaneers got no where near this version on julio Jones 😭
Some of these attempted tackles are atrocious. Always go low when tackling can’t move without your feet
I would kill to have him on the Packers
Same lol but we got Adams who is a Top 5 WR imo anyways tho he needs help
Jesus that would be too much alone
We would look at julio like randy moss, if he played with Kyle Shanahan the entire time
I'm only here because I just traded for him in fantasy and I wanted to gloat
goldmind85 not doin to good so far this season hopefully he can turn it around
@@highlightproduction7841 he did a lot between the 20s like he always does but being out a few games and not getting into the endzone alot hurt
The Falcons are just wasting away his prime years
No one man is responsible Kyle Shanahan
Devonta Smith will easily match up to him
The only WR that is arguably as good as Julio is Hopkins
AB is when he's not being an idiot
I dont know why, but i miss when Julio had his dreadlocks.....
Andrew Glass wtf
😜
I’d rather have Antonio brown ✊🏿
Lol
Nope could of 😔
would be the best but he gets hurt ALL. THE. TIME.
Ryan Womer lol the last injury i remember was turf toe but before that i cant remember
jesse rumsey im pretty sure his hip
Ryan Womer what year was that? Was that the same as turf toe?
Jacques browner Lmao hes hurt now and this convo was a week ago im done 😂
Jacques browner Yes exactly , im saying if he was playing healthy more games than not his numbers would be ridiculous but for now they arent the best.
I’m sorry but, Julio Jones is only known for his toe catches. Antonio Brown is better than him any day and that’s coming from a pats fan.
I'm siding with Julio because I think Julio can make all the catches AB makes but don't think AB could have made that super bowl catch.------ Doesn't matter anyways because TB12 showed who's boss
bolt man go look back at ABs catch against the Packers last year then
