Takahashi has said that there are some arcs he is not done with, both in interviews and the big artbook for 3. There are plans to continue at some point but also that it will be very different in some way. No idea when that will be, but Takahashi is cooking something.
The ending of Xenoblade 3 wasn't pointless. It was a frozen moment in time, but after moebius was defeated origin re-created the worlds in that exact moment before they fused, which really only delayed them before they fused proper, as seen in FR's ending. Monolithsoft confirmed that the people of the City, who didn't belong to the original worlds, were eventually going to be born in the proper world. It's a little complex, but you could say Aionios was a sort of progenitor to the proper world, setting up the people who would eventually be born, possible even returning there memory's of Aionios to them when the world is reborn, since Origin should still have data of aionios from before it recreated the two worlds in that snapshot.
A few things regarding the end of the DLC, your reflexion and what comes along : SPOILERS AHEAD for the Xenosaga trilogy - More than simply breaking the endless now, the whole point of Xenoblade 3 is to "undone" Klaus' experiment and ruenite the Earth to bring it back to the "physical" universe. Future reedemed added the fact that humanity actually started to colonise other planets and by the time the experiment is launched, there is likely millions of people out of Earth at this time. By playing Xenoblade 1 & 2, it's never implied that humanity survived and one of the point of the story developpement is about how the "new" manking has evolved compared to the "ancients". To me, the fact that even a little part of humanity survived the experiment is already Huge in terms of lore. But then, why didn't they return ? Guess because Earth wasn't accessible from the outside for some reasons... Wait, what the synopsis of Xenosaga again ? 🙃 To me, the the story of Xenosaga is clearly about the future of these settlers and the consequences of them messing with the Zohar in the fisrt place while trying to find a path back to Lost Jerusalem. So in my headcanon, that's a nobrainer that when the Earth shifts back to the universe, the blue star falling toward it is related to the humanity that left earth before the experiment and very likely be KOS-MOS (the whole point of the Chaos and Nephilim move at the end of Xenosaga 3 was meant to teleport the region ofspace they were in to Lost Jerusalem to give Shion and crew more time to figure out how to stop the universe from collapsing). It could just appear that the end of Xenosaga 3 and the end of Xenoblade 3 could happen at the same time. That'd mean that Xenoblade 4 could aslo be a sequel to Xenosaga 3. There is a video from Xenobits named "Xenoblade timeline" which is actually a "how to properly connect Xenosaga and Xenoblade" theory and I'm on the same line in term of "connexion theory". - You pointed out the logo on the radio, there is a bit more to it. This detail was discovered about a month after the release of Future redeemed by a speedrunner. There is actually a sequence of numbers that represents the "frequencies" for the radio. Those numbers are : 98, 02, 04, 06, 10, 15, 17 and 22 with a red needle indicating the frequence placed between 98 and 2 at a sport that could represent the number 99. The frequency numbers are actually the years of every major Xeno-series realease, from Xenogears (1998) to Xenoblade 3 (2022). And the red needle would represent the fondation of Monolith Soft. I thought that was a really nice hidden detail. - You've also read on reddit about Rhadamanthus, Minōs and Aeacus. This is not Xenosaga lore, ther's only Xenoblade here. Those were actually 3 orbital stations (3 beenstalks) placed in an equidistant fashion around the equator and served as a support for the orbital ring. This was made possible by the discovery of the conduit in a lake in Africa that works as an infinite energy powersource similar to a perpetual motion machine and is defined as an "abnormal magnetic matter" in the very same terms it is for the Zohar in Gears and Saga. To me, that felt like a complete reuse of the Zohar concept but in the Xenoblade universe with little to no changes to it. And it'd also imply the existance of an actual God within the Xenoblade universe (U-DO), isn't that wild ? Then, since Future Redeemed, I'm absolutely conviced that it's the same thing because I think Xenosaga and Xenoblade share the same universe. This lore isn't available in any Xenoblade but rather, in the Siren model kit manuel that released in 2018 along with Torna: The Golden Country. It has been translated in english by a fan and you should absolutely give it a proper look. Among onther things, it explains how mankind discovered the conduit and how it allowed to create such technological advances infrastructures with the 3 towers and the orbital. And also about the Trinity Processor and how Ontos, Logos and Pneuma were trained in a virtual space in the same fashion that KOS-MOS was in Xenosaga (and even shows that the concpets for the Aegises/Monados comes right back from KOS-MOS since they also draw their power from the Zohar/Conduit). I'm gonna stop it here and correct the typos later since it's already kinda late ^^
Nopon are eternal in aionios. No flame clocks or life spans.
