Another short video, by popular request as it came second in the poll I held a few weeks ago! Also the scene from 3:40-4:04 is from the Season 5 Deleted Scenes. I wasn't sure if I should include it but the scene was just too perfect to not include (sorry for the quality, there was literally only one version I could find haha)

Surprisingly the least complicated family, but still hilariously chaotic
One of the few things that I didn’t like about this show is how they ended this relationship. Fitz had last seen Deke when Deke was angry and teleported away and then finally sees him again like 5 years later where Deke sacrifices the life that he had for Fitz and his friends for the second time and they still never got a proper goodbye to let Deke know that Fitz was proud of him and that he appreciated him.
They filmed a proper goodbye for them 2 but it got cut because of time. Sucks that ABC or marvel won’t release the dvd with all that good shit on there
I agree, they didn't have the time to do a proper goodbye between the Fitzsimmons family at the end :(
Well it's good that you haven't seen the deleted scenes than. A deleted scene in season 5 shows how awful Fitz can be.

When simmons says he's perfect my heart just melts
Most conversations with our grandparents: "Oh my god how are you?"
Deke's conversations with his grandparents: "Have you had sex? Please have sex. I don't want to be erased from the timeline. Find some time to have sex."
Fitz accepting Deke into his lab was his way of acceptance
if you didn’t know they were grandparents/grandchild you would think that Fitz and Deke were brothers and Jemma was the problem solving older sister

I never realised that Jemma lied to Fitz here lol.
In the future, yes Deke as a toddler knew Fitz as Bobo, which is part of why he didn't recognise 'Nana and Bobo' as Fitzsimmons until later. But given Deke was born in a time loop, regardless of how it originally started, future Fitz would have introduced himself as Bobo because he knew that the future version of Deke had known him as Bobo. The name Bobo just came from Fitz's knowledge of the time loop, not from preference. But this version of Fitz didn't reach the future, so he doesn't know any of that. The name Bobo will never come to be given Fitzsimmons' daughter was born in the lighthouse (and that daughter was never born in the final timeline). So to preserve it, Simmons lies and just says that the version of Fitz that died wanted to be called Bobo, so how can Fitz literally disagree with himself? She gaslights Fitz to preserve a remnant of Deke's childhood.

I think a good video would be Deke and Jemma. I love their relationship so much.

@@toastyin I feel so ashamed I just found out once the show ended more about how much work he does in Hollywood and how great he is everywhere! It all clicked like, of course the music in shield is so good they got a GOAT to do it

He was going through a lot in Season 5.
I thought the Fitz/Deke relationship was refreshing in its awkwardness. I didn't get on with either my maternal or paternal grandfather.

I love it when they're in the lab and just casually finishing each other's sentences...like, it kind of gives me a headache, but at the same time, it proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that they're related.
