Thank you so much for this video! It definitely made it easier to thread after watching this.

I'll have a quick question for you. Unfortunately my gold pads on my chip peel off after the first bond even at very very low US powers like 100, if I decrease the power even further it does not wedge at all. What can you suggest for making the first bond wedge correctly without peeling the gold layer on the pads? Thanks!

Which you could show from the beginning how install the wire spool too bc there a marking on the spool black and red so which side I put in when installing it to the machine spool holder.

I'm also working on a West Bond. The hardest part is not threading, it's having the wire in the clamp and threading without the wire exiting the clamp channel.. Your video is useless for me.

I agree with @conducteurtrain . Do you have any tips on properly placing the wire into the clamp, so it doesn't exit while threading into the tool?

@@sheikhparvez2289 unfortunately I'm always struggling. Because the wire have to go thru the clamp before threading it hard to thread without cutting the wire or dent it. The wire then do notl run smoothly. A old technician show me a trick, when you litely pull on the gold wire it become stiff and you can thread a bit easier. But I dent the gold wire with the tweezer and I then have a weakness and the wire break at the dent.
