No I haven't done anything different! Just regular trims & coconut oil on the ends!

Reem Mohamed no, it just deep conditions it :) I have dyed pastel pink hair and I use coconut oil on it and my hair is still pastel pink so no worries. :D

I know I'm kinda late but I still want to comment ya know. My hair is so straight and it didn't have the volume I wanted. When I found this, I was actually amazed about how you do your bun and I actually tried one. I wear it to school everyday. And I get so many compliments from different people!!! Thanks for making a video about this. It really means a lot to me. BTW, I don't understand why you don't have that much subscribers! You deserve mUch more. Brooke Ellyn mine are worse! they are not just fine! but way too straight and silky, they wont stay at one place at all! and even back combing wouldnt give me results with respect to volume! :(

Do you ever use mousse to thicken your hair? I use a root lifting mousse ( a lot of it) and blow dry my hair upside down until it's completely dry. My hair gets 4 times more volume that way.:)
