Just said goodbye to my one and only love a few days ago
And the line "But it's time to face the truth I will never be with you" made me tear up
This is a story that I haven't shared with very man people because it makes me sad whenever I think about it and it happened quite a long time ago. But here we go. I was 12 or 13 years old and my family and I went to Universal studios in Orlando (I am now 22). We were standing in line to ride The Revenge of the Mummy roller coaster. I was talking to my dad and I glanced away for a split second, and locked eyes with a girl around my age who was there with her family and she was talking to who looked to be her dad too. When our eyes met, we both stopped talking and smiled at each other. She had the most genuine smile I had ever seen. She literally seemed to be glowing and in that moment, it was like every one in the line had disappeared and it was only her and I there. I had never even considered the concept of love at first sight until I saw her. I wanted to know everything about this girl. She was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen and the way she looked at me was unlike any other girl had every looked at me before. I wanted to hug her, kiss her, run my fingers through her hair. She was the most perfect human being I had every seen. Although our eyes only met for a few seconds, it felt like an eternity. Then, suddenly, her and her family were called by the ride attendants to board the ride. I tried to approach her before she got on, but there were several people between us and before I knew it, she was gone. I looked for her after I got off the ride, but she was no where to be found. I had the biggest pit in my stomach for the rest of the day. I felt like I had just found my one true love and let her slip away. The reason I tell you this story is because when I got home that night, as I laid in my bed listening to the radio, this song came on. I began to cry, thinking about her and how I would never see her again. Now, almost 10 years later, when I hear this song, I still think about her. I've been back to Universal probably a dozen times since then, because I only live about an hour away, and whenever I walk past that spot where I saw her in the line, I get goosebumps. Even to this day, I can close my eyes and vividly see her beautiful face smiling at me. I wonder if she ever thought about me after that day. I'd give anything to just know her name or see her one more time. But I know that will probably never happen. I've shared this story a few times on the internet, in hope that she might come across it and remember me, even though I know what a ridiculous long shot that is. For all I know, she could have forgotten about me the second she got on that ride and that moment that meant so much to me could have meant absolutely nothing to her. It's so strange how such a small interaction that lasted only 4 or 5 seconds has stuck with me throughout my entire life. Why wasn't that memory of her just pushed to the back of my head, never to be thought of again. That's what makes me think we really did have some special type of connection. I don't know, maybe I'm just crazy haha but yeah, just thought I'd share this. Oh and "girl in line" if you ever read this, just know, there's a free Olive Garden dinner with your name on it 😂❤️ Thanks to everyone who took the time to read this. Hope you all have a great day!

I remember back in 2006 when my mom passed away . My dad would pick me up from tutoring nd this song would come on the radio nd we would both sing along. Such great memories I was 9 at the time. But as time passed me nd my dad lost each other. Never really had my parents to talk to since then . Been alone mentally. But everytime I hear this just reminds me of that Day of me nd my dad singing in the truck . A memory I will never forget . But damn idk 😭
