She loves Power ballads, so she and her guys wrote this one just for her. I read where she did this Live session 8 times in a row and never changed even the inflection on a single note. She has done it several times for audiences and repeats it exactly . . . Our lovely Sohyang IS a musical genius. Cheers.

The song writing group C. P. K. is C:Chea Dohyen, P:Petra and K:Kim So Hyang. They have collaborated on several songs. So Hyang is supposed to release and album is Oct-Nov this year which will probably have more C. P. K. songs on it.

Apparently the great Nathan East (Eric Clapton's bassist) met Sohyang at this year's "Soul in Seoul" music festival and was so astonished at her that he asked to play on at least one song on her new album, which Sohyang of course agreed to, and this is it. Nathan is the highest paid session musician in the world, though there is no information available that I can find about any remuneration. The album is being distributed worldwide by Warner Music Group, though Sohyang has not signed with any of Warner's labels. Yet. No one knows exactly what _may_ be going on behind the scenes. Warner is the third largest music corporation in the world, so you can bet your booties they are drooling to sign the premier soprano in the world! Thanks for covering Sohyang's latest. 💖💖💖

I thought the same thing...........has to be live. To be honest she uses so many inflections, mouth shapes, tone changes, breath placements etc. its probably easier just to have her sing it live than try to match a lip sync to it. lol Plus it probably sounds better right off the cuff with this lady. :)

I know I should focus on Sohyang cause that’s the subject but gotta mention my main man Zhou Shen. He is the busiest singer out there. I have been watching Melody Journey on IQIYI and he is such a prankster. The show has 9 or 10 singers who “compete” to perform a brand new song. Six songs each episode. Charlie is a pro and snagged 2 songs episode 1 and a song on episode 2. Silence of the Lambs, Not a Word Mentioned and Between Upside Down (closest translation). Great show and Charlie is a character. Looking forward to episode 3. Also you absolutely must to the live performance of his OST for the movie Decoded. I experienced this legendary performance in person, and I was shocked by the beauty of the performance.
