I love it when you hold the food up to the camera. It's your signature and it makes your videos special. We built our home and I had all drawers & pull out shelves put in the kitchen because I knew I'd be glad I did when i got older (Which i am). Watching you wash dishes and chat was so homey. I feel like that woman on your instant feed saying you made her remember watching her mom washing up during cooking. I could listen to you chat for hours. I bought Rada knives because you recommended them. My hubby washes up after I cook too & I tell him he's a kitchen ninja because in 10 minutes the kitchen is spotless when it would have taken me an hour! I missed pop jones too. Love both of you!

Thank you so much Lisa for saying those things. I love being in my kitchen and I am so happy we went with all drawers and pull outs. I've had 2 knee replacements and 1 hip, and the other hip will need it soon. I can't stoop down like I used to. I do love my Rada knives. I have used them for years. I miss Pop Jones when he's not in here with me. He helps me clean up after I cook. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both. Loves and hugs 🧡🧡

Hi Karen. It’s already January 2nd and I just finished watching your Christmas cooking video. It was a real pleasure to watch how you managed making all those yummy dishes all the while chatting with your many viewers. You are an amazing individual with such a calm and sweet personality.
I did try the Martha Washington candy, and the only issue I had was with the chocolate. I obviously didn’t use the right type of chocolate, for dipping ,so next year will buy dipping chocolate. But despite the not so nice looking finished product, my husband and I loved them and now have a new treat to add to our Christmas baking. Happy New Year to you and your family 😊❤️

I had completely forgotten eating homemade cornbread with buttermilk poured over the top! My mom was from Texas and she made that for me about 60 years ago. Good memory! Mom & I loved buttermilk. Here in California folks would laugh at her when she'd call milk "sweet milk" and margarine "oleo". I wish I had a bunch of family visiting for Christmas but it just me & hubby. It's in the 80s here in San Diego so we'll go the beach & feed the seagulls the ends of our loaves of bread I've been saving in a bag in our freezer all year. We'll walk on the pier and around the marina. I love your channel and I never miss your videos.Merry Christmas!!!!!!

This is my 3rd time watching this lovely video. You reminds me so much of my aunty's Joyce. She taught me how to bake and cook from as little as 2yrs when I would stir things like cream, cake batter; you know the aimple things that i could make a bit of a mess and then clean the spoons or whisks when Joyccee had said I'd helped so much that they were ready to bake! ( just as soon as she'd cleaned it up from the table, the floor and last but not least my face which would be covered. She passed away only days before Christmas

I just wanted to tell you once again how much it meant to me to be able to watch you prepare your Christmas dinner. That was my favorite thing to watch Mother as she cooked; she never allowed anyone to help cook in her early ages but lightened up as she got older. It didn't matter if I had to get up at 4 in the morning to watch her I would do that. Yesterday it healed a little of my heart to watch you going through the whole thing especially mixing the dressing because she would use her hands. You will never know what a gift that was to me and I still feel it in my heart. A very Merry Christmas to you and yours!

For some reason the closed captioning isn't an option on this video. It's usually there

@dianalester1351 thank you. A lot of folks don't, and I've caught a lot of flack, so I mostly keep her hidden or she loves outside, so I let her out. Thanks for saying that.

My gosh, don't let people discourage you, she is family. I see cooking videos with dogs in the kitchen a lot! Lord, you do what you want to do with your family, she is family!@@KarenJonesFoodFamily

I didn’t get to watch you live. I actually didn’t do much of anything until yesterday (Christmas Day). I had a bout of the stomach flu so food wasn’t on my mind. It is now. It’s Monday 12-26 and I’m wanting Christmas breakfast leftovers. I’ll have to wait until I get home at 6:30 tonight. It’s snowing and blowing and cold here. I’ll be with you as much as I can be at a time. You look beautiful in red Karen. Aww Karen… let that kitty out for a few minutes. Believe me … she’ll come back in pretty quickly and go lay down. Her cry is pitiful. 😕I have to laugh at you walking around just talking…. I do that and I’m not filming. I’m like now let me see 🤔🤔, I need this then this & my husband is sitting there like who are you talking to . I say myself. He’s like okay then I didn’t know if I was supposed to be answering you or if you were going to answer yourself 😂😂

I am so sorry you were sick. My grandson has been going through Covid this week. That family missed Christmas Day with us. We were hoping to do Christmas this weekend but now my son has it. I certainly hope my daughter in law doesn't come down with it.
