Its really interesting too see that... Macbeth says that Banquo will go to heaven which also implies of him saying indirectly that "I will kill the Noble to Rule this hell" and that he is going to hell forsure... ( ofc not realising it) Lesson: Our limbic thoughts may sometimes make us create unfortunate situations for ourselves, that maybe completely opposite of what we want. (here) Macbeth wants Power and wealth in his posterity i.e. he is wanting to create a heaven for his prodigy... But ends up doing something completely opposite of that.
Mam, in 28:32, we can see on the screen that Macbeth is now so determined that he does not need any witches or lady M. Will we consider Lady M. as a witch for her evil thoughts because we see her name in very next to the witches ?
@@smitarahaman8430 the witches were evil because it excited them to cause mayhem. Lady Macbeth was not evil for the sake of it but for her husband. It was ambition and not love for crime that made her do what she did. So no, she was not the fourth witch. Then she would not have turned mad at the end. You will get my point after you finish watching the video on the sleepwalking scene. I have specifically talked about fourth witch question there.
Just leaving a thought:--As Macbeth believed in the prophecy of three witches then how come he thought killing banquo will prevent fulfilling the prophecy that was made for him(Bnqo). It's kinda stupid of him that prophecy could work only on him but not the others .
Ma'am, is there any mention of Macbeth's son in Hollinshed's Chronicles? Did he has any son or not? bcoz in Shakespeare's "Macbeth", there is no mention about that..
Mam we see the prophecies on Macbeth to be fulfilled perfectly...but at the end of the play we will see Malcolm to be the king of Scotland, prophecies about Banquo along with his son would remain unfulfilled. Has Shakespeare put the referance of the prophecy about Banquo in this play to give his play a proper, complete form of tragedy ? As the witches would not prophesies Banquo's son would be the next king after him, Macbeth would not think of doing another crime, his downfall would not be completed. Right ??
@@NibblePop Isn't it ? So what the witches prophesied about Banquo ? Is not that not he but his successor would be the next king after Macbeth ? That is why the witches stated equivocally "Lesser than Macbeth but greater Not so happy but much happier."
Ma'am the scene is really very difficult but over all I understand it,in this scene we see the other side of Macbeth's character, for that I'm confused about the character
Shakespeare's central characters are never one-dimensional. They have multiple shades which make them realistic and human. Macbeth also shows multiple shades. His conflict is basically the conflict of these shades. He had felt guilt, killing Duncan, because of his inherent goodness. But, over time, that voice of conscience will be getting more feeble and he will choose evil path over good.

Mam, What is the changes seen in the relationship of Macbeth and lady Macbeth from Act 2 to Act 3
Madam, do macbeth wanted his own sons to be the king or he wanted to kill fleance becoz he feared him and wanted to remain as king?

Have the witches suffered like her? If not then perhaps she is not comparable to the witches.
@@NibblePop Not clear mam. Will you please explain it again ?
