You're very kind, which I appreciate; But if all the real content is going to be saved for British TV, and, as in this new video, we get long stretches of Budo strimming and Tracy painting and an interminable commercial for kit almost none of us can use, I think we are being rewarded for years of faithful subscribership with a significantly more shoddy product -- by long and often-repeated calculation.

I have missed you. The one thing I do every time I watch a vlog it is the first thing I do, I click the thumbs up! I do it before I watch because sometimes the auto feed comes on, even though I do not set it, it just happens, and there is not time to click the like. I like first, then watch.
I love watching you both, whether it be Tracy gardening, crafting, cooking, or the many other things she does. I also pay close attention to Budo's explanations when he is doing carpentry, masonry, etc. work. I find you both give very clear explanations and it is wonderful to see your home coming together with love.
I can not afford to become a patreon and I know I miss out on all the extra that you share with those who are. I also do not often make a comment, but not because I have not enjoyed your content because I do and I am amazed at how much you both accomplish. I will try to comment each vlog to help your channel grow. You have had negative press and that upsets me. No one deserves that. But you will always get the haters, just shrug them off, and if possible block them.
I have never been kicked of anyone's channel, may be because I always click like first, then watch. Your home is coming along beautifully. Budo and Tracey, Please keep going - I love your channel. I am amazed that you do not get more hits more quickly. It is a real pleasure to watch real masters of your trades so to speak. We live in France also and we have renovated just the inside of an old Maison du Maitre about 100 years old. I started 12 years ago and just wish I could have watched your videos before I had started. I am a bit of a perfectionist and I just know when someone is doing something very well. Really enjoy watching your videos, but I do have a small suggestion to make, why not open a second youtube channel to cover Budo doing his fantastic woodwork only. It does sometimes get a bit too technical for us ordinary folk, but I know lots of viewers enjoy and understand that.
More cooking, making furnishings and gardening from Tracy may be the answer too.
Hi Trish thank you for your good suggestion we was thinking of starting a wood working channel and will look into it a bit more but as Tracy said we wouldn't be able to run to youtube channels as we wouldn't have the time so it might just have to be this channel or the wood working one which we will give it some more thought thanks again all the best Budo xx
I think it can take a while to build a channel, I have seen a few grow very slowly. I love the craftsmanship you both display. I let the ads run as I figure if RUclips is making money off you they will send you to more people.

Oh Budo.. remember you were trying to get the roof done before that cold weather hit!!! I have been waiting patiently to see the finished kitchen!! I shall try to share to at least one person each episode... Hang in there.. All the ones I watch had a hard time getting over the 10K and 20K subscriptions, but after that they seemed to take off. They are all over 100K now but it took time.
The weather this year has changed priority of work but it will be worth the wait when it is eventually finished 😊 thank you that is great have a good weekend xx

Wonder if it is worth having a second channel featuring Budo's construction projects as he always explains how he makes things this might pick up the diyers who wouldn't necessarily watch a channel on homesteading or French house renovation. I have thought that about another u tube channel for budo carpentry plastering skills ect always thought it was a great idea from when I started watching from the very start of there channel.
I apologize, I don't always watch the videos when they come out, but I do watch them later. I always hit "like" and most of the time make a comment, but have not been good a sharing. I love your videos and have really enjoyed watching from the start and seeing all of the progress.

Could you let me know the name of the singer/artist. Love you guys, so very talented and knowledgeable and makes us feel we can keep going with our projects now we are retired. LOVING the colour of the paint it just warms the brick work up lovely warm and cozy.The lavender looks to be growing nicely bet that smells glorious. Beautiful. I absolutely love the colour of the fireplace. I am a great fan of Farrell and Ball paint. I have used it a lot and the colours are so much better than cheap paint. The quality is so good. It is a pleasure to paint.
