Beautiful playground thank you 🙏🏻 The only thing I would leave out is the chain as budgies can get their little toenails stuck in them. You could use regular twine instead 😁🙏🏻💜

Hot glue is toxic, metal that isnt stainless steel is toxic, smooth dowels/perches will cause foot sores, and driftwood or decorative wood is also toxic because of salt and chemicals used in treating it. Theres good information around the web that details what things are toxic or dangerous for birds, that anyone cam access these days, so I don't know why people ignore it and keep putting out bad advice/ instruction, as seen here.
thanks for the advice, as of Now theres no Problem with their health and my budgies still enjoy it specialy the wood. and about the glue? they didnt notice the glue only the wood.
@@rp101aquatics6 yea and expensive, the ones that I have have crazy prices. So sad lol but dollar tree does have most of these things. Hope I get lucky guys.
really cool, but do you even care if about the materials you are using? are they non toxic? is the glue gun you are throwing around there, is the glue non toxic to birds once it dries? and fyi, the birds should not play on the HOT GLUE ITEMS UNTIL THEY ARE DRY!!!!!KEY WORD HERE IS HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@Shilohoho get a clue, they can get sick from the materials and glue if they are not non-toxic, and can burn themselves on the hot glue or the glue gun if they are not supervised
Do not use any of these products! Especially hot glue. This is a death trap. Fake treated wood, glue, plastic toys, any metal besides stainless steel, cloth/ yarn, paper with ink are all toxic for birds!
Just amazing!

Your bird can actually ingest the dried hot glue...
Make sure that it is barely showing from underneath before introducing your bird

Amazing but glue is not good for parrots
they dont bite glue they prefer wood and because its free no worries.
So cool! Did the hot glue hold up? I love it and would love to make one for my conure. They are a bit bigger than parakeets, so just wondering😊
Ella Renèe thanks. hot glue is the easy way to connect them and hold for last.
Ella Renèe I made one for my conure and the hot glue held if I put a lot and wrapped it with string

I love the end result but hot glue is toxic and unsafe for birds 😥
I know many people who've made things for their birds and have used hot glue to stick them and, their birds are still alive and healthy!
what did u use for the base
cool and cute
Great project for my cockatiel she needs a play pen. And saves $30 for yourself because if you buy your own. That’s the cost of them
Brilliant great job!
Very amazing
I would love to do this but my bird eats the hot glue lol and the wood
