Hopefully no one steals my comment again. Anyways, I put a lot of work into writing this so I'm not giving up on this idea yet. So here, have it again. Next game, you should do the Dust Sans (Imposter) vs Papyrus (Crewmate helper). Dust Sans has 4 forms. Form one is Weak Dust who has three attacks. Bone shoot shoots out 3 bones and does smol damage. Gaster blaster shoots a beam that does 5 dmg. And bone zone, which does pretty small damage. Then he gains a second form which gives him 2 new abilities. Blaster Barrage sends a flurry of gaster blasters from outside the map and does rapid damage. There's also Telekinesis, which is a mini game where a crewmate who gets stuck, has to jump over the bone jumps. Then in his third form, you can base it off of Dustdust. He gains 2 new abilities from this too. The first one is bone rain where it rains bones down onto the crewmates (similar to Sonic.EXE's SEGA move). And the other one is giant blaster. It's a normal blaster at first sight, but then the blaster shoots out a huge beam. Then his final form can be based off of True Dust and he gain 3 new abilities. The first one is special attack which is where he traps the crewmate into a fighting box and slams them around, making them lose massive amounts of hp. The second one is PAPYRUS where he summons ghost Papyrus to follow a crewmate and then bring them to Sans (crewmate is random). And his final move is called blaster circle where he turns the whole map into a fighting box and does the blaster circle (where he shoots blasters rapidly around the player). Meanwhile Papyrus gets 3 forms. The first one is just normal and happy Papyrus. He has 3 abilities. Bone blockade blocks attacks from Sans. Telekinesis can launch crewmates to wherever they need to go. And SPAGHETTI!!! heals the crewmates by 8 hp. His second form is more serious. He only gains 2 new abilities. Bone wave can trip and stun Sans for 3 seconds. Bone shot can stun him for 5 seconds. His final form should be based off of the Rejuvenation mod in chapter 4. He gains 3 new abilities. One is Gaster Blaster, stunning Sans for 7 seconds. The second one is bone crush, stunning not only Sans, but also stopping ghost Papyrus from taking a crewmate to Sans. His final attack is puzzle, which traps Sans in a puzzle (sorta like a platform jumper game) and he is not allowed to use any moves until he gets out. The rescue thing can be called defeat sans. It's pretty much what happens to Sans in your mod but what Dust says instead. Papyrus form 2 begins in between Sans phases 2 and 3, and Papyrus final form begins at the same time as Sans'. All crewmates have 99 hp (to reference the classic game). Please don't steal my comment again.

How about a UNDERTALE Asgore V.S. UNDERTALE Toriel where Toriel saves the crew mates and Asgore tries to DESTROY them. Asgore get’s a new power every time he gets a Human SOUL but… Flowey KILLS Asgore and STEALS THE 6 HUMAN SOULS! It would be a great mod for you guys to make!
