"A pale" is representing how people think she is just another product for money and that what she creates is just for money. In the mv she is like in a fabric and "pale" is a wood structure where products are carry to stores and everywhere so she is saying that she's made and deliver in pallets like a product.
The whole album is based on a really old book called "Flamenca" about the story of a woman who married an abusive man against her will. Every song is based on a chapter. "Pienso en tu mira" means "I think about your gaze", in this chapter Rosalía tells the story from the side of the abusive husband, hes anxious, paranoid that someone will steal her precious bride so he keeps her in captivity and guards her obssesively like a bull, he becomes a monster in a maze where his beautiful princes is locked, thats why she is represented with fragile things like the doll being broken by a violent man and a crumbling house, he thinks about her gaze so obsesively that he feels it like a bullet to his chest.
I'm so happy that you're reacting to Rosalía!! "A Palé" here has two meanings: the wood things used to stack and transport freight goods, but also, in the gypsy caló language, it means "behind" or "hidden", and it usually refers to bad things done or said about someone from behind/hidden. "A Palé" by Rosalía is a punch in the mouth to those who say she's another industry product produced in and for the mases. That's why, in the MV, she's in a factory and over a conveyor belt. This also explains the violent sound of the song, in general, challenging those who say bad things about her to do it looking at her eyes, and in the face, not in a hidden way. In addition, this has some paramount visual references: at the beginning, the dress she's wearing is the same as the one that wears the Duchess of Alba in a famous portrait painting by Goya (she is the spanish woman who owns the biggest quantity of nobility titles in the country), which gives Rosalía the authority needed to express what she wants. On top of that, the unibrow is a reference to Frida Kahlo, mexican painter and feminist icon herself. On top of that, the surroundings are reminiscent of Rosalia's city of birth: an industrial-based town near Barcelona.
Your Spanish pronunciation while reading the ending was really good, Sera! Btw, "querer" is not pronounced with the U, it's just "qerer". You said a couple of time, "calle" while Pienso en tu Mirá (which means something like I Think About Your Gaze), it means "street" ;) Ok, I'm done with the useless Spanish things no one asked me to say lmao
You’re pronunciation of Spanish is so cute! ☺️ the first mv talks about gelosy, the fear of the man to lose her everytime she goes out to the street. A palé is a song against haters. ‘A palé’ o ‘pallet’ is a wood structure use to carry goods. In the mv Rosalía is represented as a product in a conveyor belt of a factory (she criticizes people who say she is a music industry product).
Fun Reaction😄😂😁Love it! You should react to De Aqui No Sales, Di Mi Nombre and Bagdad from el Mal Querer and there are some other fun videos to react from her like Con Altura, Aute Coture, Millionaria and Juro Que that some said is like the beginning of a second part of the Mal Querer also her live Performances are impressive like in the Goyas 2019 Spain version of the Oscars with the song me Quedo contigo, Di Mi Nombre live in Sevilla at VMA or Tu Por Mi yo Por ti MTV VMA USA...
Sera your spanish is awesome!!!! The olives that Rosalia is putting in the gun are a symbol of the eyes of the bull, bc all the chorus is her saying "i think about your gaze, your gaze is like a bullet in my chest" bc the song is about how the man is jealous of his wife going out dressed up and smiling bc everyone can see her beauty and he is sick jealous. A toxic relationship. All the video is full of spanish culture, like the spanish dancers aka flamencas or flamencos, and that is a bit confusing for people who don't know anything about Spanish culture, btw not to brag but we have a very very rich culture :)
Hi Sera! I love that you are reacting to Rosalia! You pronouncing Spanish made me feel like when I'm trying to read korean XD You did great btw! Just one thing that made me laugh (in a you were cute way) in spanish "y" means "and" and you read it like how the letter is read in English but we pronounce it like "i" in hangeul it would be 이 😊
hello, i'm shocked, i didn't expect you to react to Rosalía. honestly, i'm not a fan of her but i do listen her music in time to time, my favourite track was "pienso en tu mirá" and a "ningún hombre(a beautiful freedom anthem)" but what amazes me more is the whole context in which the album was created, even if it's and old novel you could easily portraits and relate in our modern ways of living. It's a direct attack against macho violence, all the rotten misogyni that exudes the husband is a reflex that is still predominant in the societies all around the world, sadly. The myths of romantic love are the death of us, but on the other hand i truly appreciate the fact that she doesn't romanticizes the jealousy. For the eyebrow, it relates to the mexican painter, Frida Kahlo. Fun fact: I'm from Mexico City and i live at 30 minutes of the blue house were she lived, and all her creative universe remains there. Anyways, i hope you have a beautiful day, Sera! Btw, really impressed with your pronunciation! You did really well.
@@savannah6688 ¿¿¿whaaaaaaat??? Read her biography first please, omg. Her heritage is based of hungarian-german by her father and oaxaqueña blood by her mother (a city from MÉXICO). "A Palé" is not a common expression in spanish and almost nobody knows the meaning of it, but they say that in gypsy culture means like doing something without anybody seeing
not at all, palé is a construction thing where you put everything on top in a lot, like bricks, and "a palé" is a common Spanish expression to refer to a large amount of something, referring to the fact that the pallets always go full.

Omg thanks for reacting to Rosalía, she's amazing for sure, this is one of the best and most humble reactions I've seen about her! I'me glad that you liked her even despite the language barrier, I love South Korea and I'm very happy to see you reacting to her, is great. It would be awesome if you react to "Juro que", "De Plata (directo Sevilla)" and her performance in the Grammy Awards of "Juro que + Malamente", or other songs whether u like, thanks and love from Spain!!:) PS: your pronutiation in Spanish is really cute omg.
The album Querer (케레르) talks about the different states of a domestic violence/abusive relationship between a man and a woman. The song Pienso en tu mirá speaks on the male/abuser's point of view
Love you Sera!! Rosalia has a new single more in the vibe of "Pienso en tu mirá", it's called "Juro que" (I swear). It's about a love so deeply that she's willing to give up anything to be with her lover. Plus the video is has official English subs :)
You read Spanish very well. I couldn't read it but thanks to you I know what it was. So basically it's telling where the clips were filmed, dates and time.

Yes!!
Gracias por explicar porque no entendía jaja
And also means something recreated several times, so basically means when something is produced several times, and always the same
No, a palé en castellano significa con fuerza
It's a gipsy expression, not usual in spanish talk. It means "with strong", i think.

Best explanation I've read in comments. Anyone who wants to understand the song quick and clear should read this one.
the scene where she opens the door & ends up in the same room also symbolises how she's trapped!!

Yes! in “pienso en tu mirá” there is a children's choir accompanying her voice (in the chorus)
The first song literally means “I think in your sight, thrusted, like a bullet inside my chest”
