Fishing La Crosse Mississippi River - Day 1 of the 2023 MLF Invitationals

The final event of the 2023 Major League Fishing Invitationals is being held on the Mississippi River out of La Crosse, Wisconsin and will include Pools 7, 8, & 9.
The River is extremely low compared to when I've been here in the past and is at an elevation of about 4' and normal, I believe is around 7'. The duck weed is really different and hard to find with enough water beneath it that isn't choked out with Eel Grass.

Why wouldn’t u throw a soft bait at it ? At the blow up , throw a fluke

I threw both a fluke style bait and Swimbait at almost all the blowups throughout the tournament day and never got a bite on the fluke style bait. I couldn’t believe it.
