Anyone else notice that Cushman says he first met Hunt at Hunt’s CIA retirement party yet Hunt testified that he and Cushman shared an office at CIA HQ in the 1950s? Despite the conflicting statements on this in their testimonies, Committee never brought this up to either Cushman or Hunt. Seems important... yet Cushman is in and out in 90 minutes.
DDC 1 :0) Someone clearly hasn't been doing his homework, that day... How clearcut is that division of work between CIA (only foreign countries) and FBI (domestic security) when we hear in another interview that the FBI was doing enquiries in Mexico, upsetting the White House for "obscure" reasons... This is clearly a very relevant hearing, that leaves more question marks than removes such question marks. Who telephoned to Cushman: Ehrlichman, Colson, Dean... Did Colson called but saying that he did so in the name of Ehrlichman ? Or did Dean ? No idea if Cushman received that many telephone calls from the White House, but I am really surprised, read, suspicious he didn't recall clearly who had called him. I mean, if it was Ehrlichman, I can understand he wouldn't recall the exact name, but at least, he might have remembered it was a German name. I think this hearing is much more relevant than the number of visitors here on RUclips suggest...
I’m with you on this. The Committee asks Kalmbach the same question 5000 times over several hours of testimony and Kalmbach consistently gives the same answer but “DDC One” Cushman gives inconsistent answers and the Committee doesn’t question the inconsistent answers and Cushman is out the door in under 2 hours? I also found this odd. If there was a question of CIA involvement, Cushman would be a key witness to question regarding this. I agree with you that the lack of questioning by the Committee of Cushman was odd given the Committee questioned minor witnesses for hours and hours. Was Dash out drinking the night before? That said, I was not disappointed by Dash’s lack of questioning...
Cushman testifies that he first met Hunt at Hunt’s CIA retirement party. So, Cushman didn’t remember sharing an office with Hunt at CIA HQ in the 1950s as Hunt testified they did? I forget if Cushman or Hunt testified first but either way, the Committee didn’t question Hunt or Cushman about this discrepancy in their testimonies. Either Hunt or Cushman lied and the Committee didn’t bother to dig into this?
Prior to to the establishment of the CIA, the FBI had primary responsibility for intelligence/criminal investigation in the Latin America. (Hoover defended this against OSS encroachment) After the CIA was created, some of this activity continued, mostly the criminal investigations. Even today, the FBI has offices overseas even beyond Latin America.

Does no one listen? They found the evidence
that it was Ehrlichman that had called him!!!
