Vanlife Norway - Geiranger hike to Skageflå fjell farm, Seven sisters May 2023 dji mini

Join us on a hike to the scenic viewpoint of Skageflå fjell farm, located about 250m above the geiranger fjord. We did this in 18 may 2023, and there was still some snow left on higher altiitudes, but nothing problematic on the way. We passed Homlungsaetra half way to Skageflå, and there are also other old farms in the area for those who want to explore.
The view from Skageflå is stunning, as it is situated on a cliff hanging over the mountain side, with Knivsflå fjell farm and the legendary seven sisters waterfall on the opposite side of the fjord. Unbelievable viewpoint.
Skageflå have been inhabited from the middle ages until 1916, and now is only a scenic remnant of the past, looking over the fjord.
The hike is normally done from the fjord up, but we did the opposite direction. I would recommend doing it in the normal direction as you are then rested on the most demanding parts of the hike. Also, not having to face the steep cliffs downwards xD

Hehe, normenn bor på galna ställen bara :) Vi i Sverige är inte riktigt vana vid såna höjder (några av oss iaf) :p
