Hey James, Thanks for the inclusion in the video, always nice to be included in a technique vid with Josh Kerr 😁. I'll work on that ankle dorsiflexion and relaxing my shoulders. Have been working heavily on quad, glute and calf strength and am about to start running again after 5 weeks off - letting knees/patellar tendinopathy settle down to a baseline so I can start to slowly build back up again. Thanks again James, love the channel. 👍👍
Looks like weight to height / limb length ratio #1 (cube square law). stretch reflex / insertion and tendon strength #2 and then technique / adjustments #3.
You got a cold James? Covid got me this summer, on vacation none the less. I still feel the loss of form two weeks later. Kerr is probably the one person who can stop my countryman Jakob Ingebrigtsen getting his 1500 m olympic gold. It'll be a fascinating duel!
Yeah - feeling rough as a badger's behind 🤣 Still wanted to get this video out today... but you can hear it right?! Can't wait to see that 1500m show-down!!
Great stuff. Is all this covered in the 'master you running technique' from BPR? Drills etc? Also I find it quite hard to do any sort of form while running slow. For long run etc.

Tried to apply this during this morning’s long run and had a real light bulb moment, felt so much more efficient. Thanks for explaining it so well!
All good and well but how many recreational runners actually run at that pace? Have him run at 12km/h and that form will change considerably.
James literally has a whole 18 minutes video explaining this topic. The one uploaded just before this.

Can you do video about Suguru Osako too? His forefoot style is very interesting .
