I've seen modifieds and late models hitting a cushion, not as often but it happens.
Well you can’t just make a car any size you want if you want to race at venue like this anyway. If that was the point every vehicle with 4 wheels would look the same
@@KillyJoe well, Kinda sorta. The rules are super thin, no weight min, and if it looks kinds like a midget ok, see bondio with short downtubes and bicycle wheel cars, swindell feul tank... they have said "no sprint car v8's" but a few times past teams have tried v-6 or two motorcyle 4 made into 8 cyl. this year a couple guys were running micro 10 in wheels instead of the normal midget 13. anyways, half the 320ish cars would be very far from legal in a USAC race

Bell was coming baby, he caught a rut in the middle of the track. Him and Larson just flat on a another level him them cars. Anybody that denies that has never actually been to a race where either one of them is is racing. Bell is as good as Larson
No, I would have to argue with you on that. In Sprint cars Kyle is King. There is nobody better today. I agree Bell is good but if they raced every week Bell might win one out of fifty. Everyone has a bad day once in awhile.
He better do something different next year because on the long greens Larson had a straight away ahead,he made that little mistake and bell got close after that he Larson started to get going again bell flips trying to keep up Go Larson 👍👍
Did you ever see anyone in the infield get hit after 35 years of this race taking place, plus the Tulsa shootout that happens the week before this race?
The harder he drives into the corner the more pissed that engine sounds. Love it!
GREAT INSIGHT OF WHAT THESE MAD BUGGERS GO THROUGH, DONT STOP POSTING BUDDY
A European...
That isn’t rude to American motor sports??
I’m sorry sir we need to take an alcohol test
Would be awesome to have him add some commentary over the video just to hear a little of what he was thinking during the race
Would have been even better if you hadn't put the commercial right at the point of impact 🤬
That just shows you how well made these cars are he flipped multiple times and and the structure of the driver’s compartment isn’t even bent that bad
If it was well made it wouldn't flip so easily in the first place. Don't know whose brilliant idea it was to make the car taller than it is wide.
@@sgtpepper6379 it wasn’t the car, when you are sliding on dirt and you hit a rut in the track flipping is usually what happens to you in midgets

12:30 for flip
Greeeaaaat Share. Thank U. Suxx to end like that for him. Was fixin to excitin
Congrats to larson
You can tell bell was saving until the end, wasn’t even hitting full throttle down the straight first half of the race! Always an entertaining race
Likely because of a full fuel load, or else you'd just be doing wheels tanks every lap. Once the track went away and fuel burnt off
@@TroyPennington possibly- he did say before the race he would be conservative until the end as well!
He was doing that to conserve his tires and fuel

@@sonnymorrison9734 not at all
That was a crazy last 10 laps. Watched the hole race and seen more wrecking in the last few laps.
Thank you!
It was a shame to crash like that.
Well it’s gonna happen some time
Doesn't play an add the whole time then sticks one in right when the inside rear tire lifts of the ground.
That is youtube, not the uploader.
Legit same thing happened to me
@@truffleshuffle009 I can confirm, it is the uploader and not youtube

That was fixing to get real intence
Larson almost flipped himself too on the ruts in the track. Tough luck right there. He was MOVING at the end
Heartbreaking end for C Bell 💔.
Never been to chili bowl. Is that dirt over a concrete or blacktop base? Infield looks paved and there's a painted white line... great vid..
It's dirt over the buildings concrete floor.
What size/kind of midgets are these?? I don't know a lot about dirt car racing..
Was sooooooo hoping for better outcome
Checkers or wreckers I love it
The safety worker who was checking on him should have said "hi welcome to chili's"
Best Midget driver on the planet right now, according to Kyle Larson.
Really fast all week. Tough luck. Always next time

Tanner Thorson of USAC beat them both last year. Justin Grant is very very good as well.
Hope he is okay. Respect for racing that hard though
Do you know what camera & audio they film that on?
GoPro
Can’t believe the camera survived the crash

Go Larson 👍👍
2nd is the first loser...props to CB for pushing it to the limit.
SIKKKKK
Great video thanks he was just out drove as a result of the race 👍 to Larson.
Wow. What a drive. That sucked for him.
Bummer
The second he started flat footing it he lost time. If your spinning, you ain't winning.
Stupid add as soon as he gets up on the bike.
larson defiantly got a little more sideways than intended and caused that
No sutch thing as safety i see all these people in the centre of the track and no barriers ridiculous
There are barriers
Yes but not continues and they are spaced to far apart and also not high enough
