I was just glad that it wasn't about the MIL or husband abusing her! I get a bit tired of hearing those stories!
This story made no sense. They didn’t know about his allergies but it was Margrets fault for forgetting the allergy? And just by standing in the corner at each visit the doctor diagnosed her with dementia? And how did the detective get into there home without permission? None of this makes sense. Also ads interrupted the story every two minutes.
The doctor was brilliant he knew as he had psychic abilities that enabled him to see inside Ethan’s body. All due to him being from another planet. He was here to study illness as it had been eradicated from his planet along with dementia. He had been swopped as a young baby who was actually living on David’s home planet. Obviously David had to be a doctor every three months his brain would be subjected to downloads.
All this was undertaken as he slept. He then found out he didn’t need to sleep. It was considered a waste of time on his planet.
It was hoped that Ethan could have some downloads but never as far as David. His planet was a long way ahead now if they downloaded to much to Ethan brain damage was a possibility.
Yes it's discombobuated and just plain nuts. No cosultation, one incident that dosn't fit the timeline and you can be diagnosed? Where is the editor, and who turned off the stove?
For goodness sake, you cannot apportion blame, if none knew of any danger. Nobody is responsible for what happened, if no symptoms were known of or seen before. Once the triggers are identified, the parents are both responsible, but everybody who knows about it has a role to play, in keeping him safe. Blame in this situation is pointless, futile and unnecessarily cruel.

An unknown allergy is just that and even if the father had an allergy it doesn't mean that the child would also get it. However blaming one another seems to be a human condition. But it's a useless condition especially when it's dealing with an unknown rare medical condition.
it is always the mother's fault?? so what good is the father for? all toys have an age requirement! and you check the labels and warnings on the packages, if you really care about the safety of the child. WELL AT LEAST SAFETY AND WARNING LABELS ARE HERE IN THE USA AND OTHER COUNTRIES THAT SELL THEIR MERCHANDISE HERE.
