Hi VP you mentioned you stopped trading oil together and I’ve literally started working on my oil algo, what are your thoughts is it worth the time investment building an oil algo or ?
My report card isnt so hot. Some $350 in deposits and $150 in rebates/rewards, and still down about $550 on the year. Having said that, I did drop down to smaller/multi time frames and tried using BBands to call reversals, and thats actually made me some money, traded my lame $17 account back to $33 over a few weeks, but the important bit is that it was using 2-3% risk and much tighter trades. I'll probably hit a couple losses in a row now, but the thing about tight risk really does make a difference. Same strategy with options on WMT and bluechips, I made a few hundred per trade on my main account, so I'm still net positive for the year, but its been a grind
@@NoNonsenseForex I really ought to set aside a week(end) and just do a proper, quantified test of everything. I know how BBands make you die inside, lol. Actually, even ChatGPT had great general advice for picking different indicator functionality (trend direction, strength, rising volatility, etc and how to avoid ranging markets). Ah well, we'll see how I end up next year

I think oil is about to get a lot more interesting, so I would say keep going with it.

I never stopped. I meant my fx trading videos. And I fell short of my goal this year but was still happy with it.

58% for 2024 trading the 4H XAU,XAG,SP500,WTI,BTC. Approx ~600 trades and a slighlty modified nnfx system
