The coach is ok and needs to take us to the World Cup, as is the primary reason for coaching the team. I don't understand why we expect to beat any South American team. We haven't reached that level yet, so we have many more years. But progress is improving.

No one coming for the ball trying to play out of defense. Team press, force a long ball from us. Mentality problem, the man them slow to react to everything. 3 JA players stood around the loose ball and allowed one player to step in and win the ball, 3-1. Pressing was woeful in the 1st half. Be brave on the dam ball.
The coach has to give the players a platform to perform.
Picking a defender in midfield, who has no positional sense in that position and picking a target man striker on the wing, did not help.
Leaving our best attacking player on the on the bench did not help.
Starting negatively, dropping back and inviting pressure, with no threat of our own, did not help.
The pressing was better in the 2nd half because we had nothing to lose so the coach sent us forward.
We closed them due, sent the full backs forward etc.
2bd half was much better.
The coach made adjustments but it was too late.
You stab somebody, you can't get credit for putting a bandage on them afterwards.

Coach must stay, fire the partisan ref , no more games for him in this tournament. Dixon made schoolboy tackle but he will learn. Team played well in the second half.

I think this time it made sense. Hector is more calm on the ball. The question is why him never put in cephas and more players. A 5 sub him have and no wah use them.
