The National Library of Ireland is embarking on a new chapter

We’ve been developing plans for the West Wing of our Kildare Street site to open up our collections, spaces and services. Our Director Dr Audrey Whitty and staff along with Hilary Vandenberghe from the OPW reveal more about these plans to renovate our former book store into a major new public space.
The transformational project is a partnership with the Office of Public Works and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport.
