I don’t think our Lord enjoys being called “black” Jesus. It’s like calling me Hispanic Tim and leans too much in reference to nicknames during slavery. It’s deeply disrespectful to Him, to whom we should give utmost honor and respect. Please Call Him Yeshua. APTTMH

@ I know he wasn’t Euro. I’m versed in who Yeshua is and the regions and peoples from which He came from. He is my Lord as well. I’m not referring to Him being BLK as a problem, I referencing to being called “black Jesus” a problem. Just as I explained I don’t want to called black Tim just call me Tim. I wonder how he’d feel if someone stands before him during judgment and refers to Him as black Jesus. I wouldn’t dare! No one in biblical scripture ever called Him that. I’ll stick with announcing Him by His name. I’d wouldn’t say my prayers with that. Would you? But hey that’s me do you if you don’t have a problem with that and you feel okay with it.

@@sweet93553 Respecting His name and identity is key-it's about honoring who He truly is, beyond labels or earthly distinctions.

@@BibleStories24h then in respect and honor of Him call Him by his name only. Remove the precursor to describe his color. Yes he’s black. We know he’s black. I’m proud of being black but I prefer to be called Tim not black Tim, when it’s obvious that I’m a black man. Now the question lies in who am I as a person? I don’t want to be known solely by the color of my skin which links me to my heritage but ALSO by the content of my character (who I am inside, by my inner soul reflection I show outwardly into this world). I don’t want to be called but only by my name. You understand? But do what suits you.
