Thanks, this is Connor's dad. The biggest thing we learned is that the gearing is WAY off. We moved the engine to the back, eliminating the jack shaft. For some reason we thought that the jackshaft was 1 to 1 sprockets, then we realized that it was actually like 50% reduction! So right now it's geared for like 50 mph or something crazy. So we are going to add the jackshaft and get the gearing back to what it was before, then it will be fun again and he can drift it.
@@HellmuthsHotRods in the video, I can hear every stroke of the engine, but I guess that’s why it kind of sounds good, like it’s under a load and like you said, I bet if it had pavement and some distance, it would get going pretty quick. It’s a work in progress. I know what that’s like! It’s still pretty cool though, and you guys are doing a great job!
