Carissa, I have Julie’s Mr. Bear and actually used him yesterday on a Valentine. However, I was so glad to see how you die cut him because it was driving me nuts! Love all your cards today! You are the best!
FYI: For those who may not know, baby oil can be used in place of gamsol. It is less toxic and you don’t have to worry about fumes and ventilation like with gamsol. ~Lisa~
Love these cards - and I love that you used pencils because they are my medium of choice as I don't own Copics. I have always loved the look of pencils for colouring images as you can get lots of texture & layers happening. Thank you Carissa :-) P.S. You have a great personality & I love how well you explain everything.

Nice cards. Just bought the Caran de Arche and they are wonderful. Already had prisma and derwents. All are good pencils, and gamsol does make a difference with blending. TFS Love the gerbera daisy and all the coffee cups.
Beautiful cards and thank you for using pencils. I'm actually tired of using my Copic...it takes me forever and pencils and Gamsol works fast. Gamsol does work with the less expensive pencils. Thank you again.
FYI I started out with Crayola colored pencils (because I'm cheap and they're what I already owned), and blending with the odorless mineral spirits (Gamsol is just one brand) definitely smooths them out a LOT. The technique works WAY better with higher quality pencils, though.

Love your idea of putting gamsol in the pen. Stubs get annoying after awhile.

With the Gemini jr can I use any dies in it?
I use the alcohol marker(with alcohol) to blend my colored pencils...works great and no chemicals to deal with.
Carolyn Picken may I ask what you mean by alcohol? Is it rubbing alcohol? If not what did you use?
Ching Scoular I use alcohol blender solution, in various blender pens. I believe rubbing alcohol works.
