    Prawn Ghee Roast is a very popular dish in Mangalore. This is a Kundapur speciality.
    Prawns are easily available here as it is situated in the coastal area. This is a spicy and tangy dish.
    This is a perfect side dish with , ghee rice, roti , neer dosas, appams or Malabar paratha. It is easy to make and can be served as an appetizer also.

    List of Ingredients
    1 kg prawns
    Salt as per taste
    1 tsp turmeric powder
    Curry leaves
    3/4 tsp methi seeds
    11/2 tsp cumin seeds
    1 1/2 tsp peppercorns
    3 tsp coriander seeds
    1 tsp musard seeds
    8-10 red chillies a mix of beg and Kashmiri
    10-12 garlic cloves
    8-10 cashew nuts
    1 small ball of tamarind
    Curry leaves
    1 tsp jagger/ sugar
    Salt as per taste
    Ghee as required

    Love this ghee roast, same with the chicken ghee roast. they serve it with neera dosa. perfect combo.
