- This week its time to make the first moves towards getting this antique motorcycle back on the road..
With so much to do where on earth do you begin? I thought it made sense to start at the front of the bike and check out our forks. Will they hold up?
I was very much pleased and surprised to find some hidden treasure under all the horrible rust!

Love finding treasure
Nothing beats it! We're all pirates at the end of the day!
Thanks for another video Will.Good to see some progress. Can't wait to see what you are going to do for an engine.
Thankyou for watching! Yes feels good to start making moves in the right direction!
Exciting stuff Will. When you found the BSA trademark on the linkage that was pure gold.
This is going to be a great build.
Best wishes, Dean.
It's the kind of thing I do this all for, most pleased indeed! Thanks mate, glad you got a ticket too. Fingers crossed you won't be at work!
@@ColemanCustoms should be good to go Will, looking forward to it.
Think this will be a brilliant rebuild. Can't wait to see how it goes 👍
Thanks mate!
Good effort I’m Currently restoring a 1981 Suzuki GS 550 which also had a rusty frame with holes in it where they shouldn’t have been
it’s now patched up and welded and ready for painting
Thanks mate! Surprising how little it takes to rust out a frame! Had a similar thing aiwth a z440 frame. Gs550 are great, I have always wanted one! Incredible sound!
Is it good to use primer before painting on forks ..?
Which kind of paint you've used in this ? I wanna do do the same on my bikes wheels
