You can also do it with the Springer. Climb the mountain where the mastery point is, use the Springer jump skill and then use the Bond of Faith skill (The new mount skill which launches you off to the air), while in the air, glide to the Mastery Point.
I climbed up the mountain with a springer to get it. I didn't even know that whole area was connected lol, i thought you had to climb up the mountain to get it.
You can actually reach that mastery with the griffin from the side of the mountain, without having to go through the cave at all
not all people have griffon but i know what you mean :) i did it with skimmer and griffon, from the left side of that mastery point

OMG I was just able to reach this one by jumping around on the cliff faces of the mountain...don't ask me to do it twice, though lol
