I have just bought and recommissioned a 1984 red one that was stood for years. Your full restoration is mighty impressive unfortunately I don't have the skills to do a full restoration job but at least I've saved another one these largely overlooked and underrated 80's classics. Your video is though very inspirational and gives insight to how much skill and work goes into creating a build of such quality.

I have the same bike in red from 1984. I never documented the dismantling and reassembly as you did. When you were flashing all those parts up in the video, I'd had my hands on all of them. I did the Dodge Racing Products oil mod, put a fuel pump cut out bypass switch in and the thing is beautiful. I love these bikes and I know very well how much work you put into this. It's a beautiful bike and a real piece of history as well. 1983 750 was The Bike! Now I am selling it and feel like I'm selling my best friend!

Great job Mark, a true testament to your passion and dedication. The VF sounds awesome. I am also the proud owner of an 83 750 F. I use it regularly and am bit by bit bringing her back to a condition that I am proud of. It doesn't look as tidy as yours but is in very good original condition with only 46K klms on the clock. Well done and congratulations.

Just picked up my project bike last week. Been sitting for seven years with an electrical fault so solving that so I can fire it up and see how the engine sounds before the pull down.
My first bike! The guy that stole it chased by the cops crashed into the wall Of a jack Lalaine and perished! I really miss that bike
Hi Randall most of the parts were from Ebay in the UK and some from the US, also Japan for engine parts, a lot of bearing s and seals you can get from the local bearing shop. Also suprising Honda still has many small parts left at better prices than ebay. It realy did help having the two bikes and using one for parts. Mark
