At the end right after he pushed them outta orbit/harms way you could hear the whole room exhale and fall back into their seats and this one awesome dude just yelled out “F*k yeah!” And everybody clapped and laughed at that like everyone thought the same thing. Unforgettable movie memory
I remember I watched this at an outdoor theater. I swear there wasn't anyone speaking this whole scene just total involvment with the movie. It was sick
Possibility and necessity are two deep philosophical topics. Simply speaking, possibility is what can occur, necessity is what is going to occur based on the circumstances once you put it into a logical formula. The computer tells Cooper that it is not possible to dock, but Cooper says it is necessary. Cooper has the human element of love that the computer can't compute. Cooper is going to make it work one way or another because he HAS to. He HAS to get back to his family. So for Cooper, docking the ship is a necessity that is going to occur whether or not the computer says it's possible. This entire movie is truly a work of art and this is perhaps the greatest scene.

@danny nordes ,😁😅😅😂😂
Dude the SCORE from 2:50 til the end!!! I'm getting goosebumps! Zimmer's art is really so precious.
That's human breathing...
The organist should have won an award for that!
I still on the edge of seat watching this scene after all these years lol
I remember watching Interstellar in cinema;I was in awe, and the entire auditorium was too. A moment in the history of cinematography.
IMAX changed my life with this film. Superb.
I cant even imagine what would have been the experience witnessing this scene on IMAX screen .....Oscar deserving movie for sure ❤
This is one of the greatest moments in all of Sci-fi.
This was the first movie I ever saw in IMAX. And I'm so thankful for that. I wasn't watching the movie. I was in it. Completely immersed. Everything about this scene is peak cinema.
It never ceases to amaze me the grandness that this particular score offers to this scene and also of course the entire movie
This will go down as one of the greatest scenes in Cinema History!
Nothing more to say, my favourite film of all time! Acting, production, choice of actors & the directing/inspiration for this film is unlike any other.
I can watch this scene one million times and the feeling its the same as watched for the first time.
Marvelous!!!
Such a beautiful scene that eloquently shows the balance of human ingenuity, artificial intelligence and willpower. Even better in 4k HDR!
Watched in theatre with IMAX. There was no experience in my life like this. Amazing scene amazing music and of course amazing movie. Thank you Nolan Thank you Zimmer....
I got to see this movie when it was in theaters back in the day... not knowing any other context than "it is just a space movie"... boy, was I amazed... until today, watching the entire film brings me to a heavy catharsis... but this particular scene... gives me the goosebumps full blast... I wish there were more movies with this impact... after the movie, walking to the car silently with my brothers and brother-in-law... after starting the engine without saying a word... I could felt the tears dropping... what an awesome movie...
I need this movie yearly in cinemas. What a spectacle it was back then!
I’ll never forget opening day seeing this at the Palladium IMAX in North Carolina. When he said “docking” and the Hans kicked into high gear I just shot forward in my seat and my insides were literally going _”OMG OmG oMg omg omg!!”_ and poor thing, my gf had to like pry my hand off her leg I honestly didn’t even realize I was squeezing her hard. Tthe whole room you could just feel took one unanimously huge breath and then held it for the next 2 and half minutes.
At the end right after he pushed them outta orbit/harms way you could hear the whole room exhale and fall back into their seats and this one awesome dude just yelled out “F*k yeah!” And everybody clapped and laughed at that like everyone thought the same thing.
Unforgettable movie memory
My favourite movie scene of all time. Absolutely legendary, masterclass in filmmaking IMO.
I have never felt more tension in a movie theatre.
Probably the best cinematic scene I have ever watched. I was in awe at the cinema
"there is a moment"
"It was at that moment he knew, he f*****d up"
Wouldn't have the same effect without CASE & TARS...cudos to the people who voiced them ❤
This movie should have won best picture
The Oscars don’t deserve this masterpiece, not one bit
Really? Birdman and Boyhood were better in my opinion
@@willmelucci2989 shit
@@willmelucci2989 birdman WAS NOT better than this. It was dull and overrated
This movie should be the name for a new price, where only masterpieces like this one can participate. The Interstellars
I regularly bring this clip up and watch it. Gives me goosebumps every time.
One of the best scenes in cinema history. Absolute masterpiece.
I don't think theres something that excites me to the bone like this scene, aside with the marvelous music, it get's me the chills everytime
At 02:54 the music suddenly raged,
And give goosebumps.
You dont deserve to watch such movies. These are symbols of hypermodern scientific times way beyond the concept of planets. While you in India have not even able to get over your caste surnames. You are ancient-feudal minded people disguised under modern clothes which are not even made in India.. you caste pride takers and surname lovers are worst breed of humanity.
This scene is epic, & Hans Zimmer made it even more epic with the music.
My favorite movie scene of ALL time.
