this aired exactly 39 years ago tonight, and on a Saturday no less! May 25, 1985 & 2024 fell on Saturday. Tonight, the Pacers host the Celtics on ABC in game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Indianapolis has two things to look forward to this weekend, Pacers playing at home Saturday & Monday, and of course the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday. Celtics vs. Pacers tonight.
Yeah it's too bad the networks don't do these movies anymore. I mean movies specifically made for TV, like this one. They really started moving away from this in the 2000s and now none of the networks do it. Now it's just sports, sitcoms/scripted shows and reality TV. It's a shame because a lot of these TV movies would be a good message on an important topic. Don't know where one would go for that now.
The starring aircraft in N908WA(also starred in Commando), began its life with Western Airlines, then Delta through merger. Passed through a number of airlines(American Airlines, Scanair, Sun Country, Skyservice) before being retired in 2005.
