It documents the fall in attendances in the league and the general demise of the game here. Maybe in 40 years time they will show this Vlog and how the game was on the way back up! 8 years since a team out side the top 5 in the league made a Fai cup final. And you have to all the way back to 2009 and Sporting Fingal to find the last time a team out side the top 4 Won the trophy. Shels getting to the final was remarkable In its self .

As recently new subscriber, really enjoyed the vlogs especially the previews & the coverage pictures have been quality. I’m a Tyrone man now living in Yorkshire & a Derry fan, let’s say I’m a wee bit happy. The candystripes will be stronger next season. We have a great gaffer with some quality talent coming thru the ranks. Up the candystripes
Only got to watch the first 45 but from the kick off Derry where all over Shels. Decent crowd although as expected Derry totally outnumbered the Shels fans but the event couldn’t match lasts years final. Let’s hope St Pats make the European spot count 👏🏼👊🏼
The game was amazing! McEleneys pass to the first goal was just magical! Derry were better in all aspects of the game, I believe they had around 12 shots at goal, the Shells had like 2 or something? Anyway, great game, I´m happy Derry won!
@@crashingdown6924 it does. if shels won the cup they would have got a European spot but the fact derry finished 2nd and already sit in a European spot means 4th place gets it instead which is pats.
