- Well the wind finally died down enough on this second and even better flight to where I could see if there was any trim needed in the H-King Bixler 3. Good news no, she was fine on trim. The H-King Bixler 3 is a solid performer and whither it is your first plane or 100th plane she is a winner.
Close comparable aircraft= The Hobbyzone Aeroscout.
PROS:
1 inexpensive about $40 cheaper than the Aeroscout.
2 easy to fly and assemble
3 Bigger than the HobbyZone Aeroscout therefore easier to see in the air.
CONS:
1 Not as solid quality as the Aeroscout
2 Very noisy but about the same as the Aeroscout
3 Landing gear is no where as rugged as the Aeroscout.

The Bixler is a brilliant design. I maidened mine in high winds as well, even in brutal turbulence leeward of a tree line, but it could handle that. A nose wheel would have made it a perfect beginner's model, but I doubt rookies can cope with its present ground handling. So I point beginners toward Aeroscouts for now, though Bixlers are even more rock stable once airborne. Thanks for your highly useful videos, their abundance of takeoffs and landings makes them perfect for evaluating new models we consider. Happy flying!

Thanks for being truthful in the Description. It seemed very easy to fly and no surprises. My 1.1 Aeroscout on floats is totally fun and Great fun. Wonder if the Bixler 3 will have floats available? Your camera lady did a great job and this video was fun to watch.
There are some companies that I get commissions with and others that either send an occasional free or greatly discounted plane for me to review. I tell them all that I only give straight forward honest reviews . But I dont bash a plane just because I dont like it I will explain WHY i dont like it and what I do like about it. If that want me to just hype up everything regardless then they can keep their plane. And Thanks about the camera crew she is a real blessing both with or without the camera!!

Please turn off auto-focus.
She cannot manual focus on here own. But we will try it with a set focus.

Was it you that said you have a tricycle landing gear mod on a tail dragger scheduled …?
Possibly I will be converting the eflite CZ Cessna 150t to its original tricycle gear.
