Well, for starters, it cannot be out of rhythm... every loop is made to be in rhythm with the other. Second, the EQ is bad, I believe, because it was uploaded by this RUclips user improperly. It sounds fine on his Soundcloud.
It's all subjective. I thought Scars was decent, I love Serj's solo stuff, and I love System of a Down. I just respect all of those guys as good musicians, and their albums (be it Scars, Serj, or SOAD) reflect it.
Who cares? The only good thing soad's members have done is SOAD itself. I mean, Scars on Broadway suck and Serj's solo stuff is alright, but way worse than soad....

I think Elect the Dead was a lot closer, Harakiri sounds the most foreign to me
