I have been a big fan of sandisk ever since i first purchased my first model which was a lil' monster 1gb. At this very moment I have an 8gb sansa clip and am very happy with it. I believe the best quality about sansa is in fact the sound quality. It's crisp and clean with any particular model. Even though I have a lot of music, I have yet to fill up my sansa clip, but the headphone jack is loose, so I feel the need for a replacement soon, after reading this review I feel that a sansa fuze 8gb
i actually just purchased this player over the sansa fuze plus. i like the boxy look of this older sansa fuze. i also own an ipod nano 3rd gen which i purchased 2nd hand and has served me well for years.
will be right up my alley. Especially considering the fact that it has all of the features of the sansa clip, plus video compatibility, plus the external memory option, I feel that this is the upgrade that seems just right for my requirements. The price seems to be the only problem. Hopefully the price has lowered or will lower on Amazon, so I won't have to save much. This review was incredibly helpful, and I think my mind has made a wise decision.
Before I smashed my origional 2GB Sansa Clip in a bike accident I used to use it in conjunction with my ipod touch. I still love my touch to bits because of the large screen and many apps. However when it comes to simple size, ease of use and price Sansa wins hands down. I wouldn't really go for the Fuze though and stick with Sandisks origional sansa clip player. Sansa excells at what it does as a small decent sports player and trying to half copy the ipod like the Fuze doesn't work
@GodotheInfantry hey i have a question to the micro SD slot, so WHY should you buy the 8GB version if you can just buy the 2gb and a 16gb micro sd? so can you with the sd card you add musig to the intern storage or can you also just play the stuff thats on the sd card?

Don't follow trends iPods are the most expensive way to listen to music. Buy a Sansa View I highly recommend it. It is durable (I dropped mine 25 times or more and no cracks or anything else) it's cheaper and better than (has radio unlike iPod) It's better trust me get a View.

its your choice. Buy a mp3 player to look cool at coffee shops. Or buy one that sounds the best, has a fm player, audio recorder, expandable memory, usb mass storage option, transfer any song to your friends computer in seconds without zune or ipod software. And it goes on and on. Hmm.. oh yeah, its 30% cheaper than the ipods as well. Im sure the apple / ipod sheep will be baaa baaa baaaaing about this posting.
actually microsoft wrote some of macs software for years.theres proof of that in an interview on youtube. mac is only idiot proof theres nothing really special about it.considering so much software runs on windows and so little on mac, ill take the windows anyday
oh and good luck liking a creative zen, yes it has a mini usb connector. But you cannot integrate the music from the sd card with the main memory, you have to access the music on the memory card with a seperate explorer. That's the big suck for creative. Ipod = more money spent on advertising and design then audio quality. Zune = so so. Creative = hobbled by one huge fucking issue. Sandisk = money spent on sound processing and audio quality.
this MP3 has a shitty ass screen. I had the MP3 and some Dice in my pocket, I didnt fall or any thing and the next thing i know the screen is cracked lukily i had found the Sansa View like the next week Coincidental yeah i know

The only reason why schools get it cheap is because they get it under "educational purposes" thats why they can get it cheap, Students in Uni or college can get discounts too. But for normal everyday ppl who want one, it'll cost an arm and a leg alright. I want one but its too expensive. Have you even used one yet? dont bash it if you've never used it before.
