Also to avoid any confusion- this is a standalone from the 'Quest to Punch Zeus in the Face' series. 😂 I'm just a giant nerd that likes mythological and fantasy creatures a whole lot and loves making videos about 'em.

@@carolap.b.335 Find a captive-bred hognose snake; they are so docile, and very cute. Obviously, listen to the owner about the snake's limits and personality - hoggies are relatively docile (and dramatic like a husky), but they are also individuals, and some can be... less than agreeable.

Many years later, this woman would go on to found a dynasty of decedents who all inherited her skills in providing excellent service to supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, her latest descendent has not been told of the family legacy yet and is very confused about all the Vampire's, Selkie's and Werewolf's that keep finding her no matter how many times she changes jobs.
I truly am tempted to make this a spin on that character now oh no 😂

This reminds me of a Medusa Bust I made one year as a project for my HS Latin class.
Used a foam mannequin head as a base, coverned it in plaster to mold the face, and embedded a bunch of rubber and plastic snakes into the plaster for the snake hair.
Ended up running out of time, so rather than painting it life like, I spray painted it stone grey to be a petrified head. Ended up actually being more terrifying looking than I had planned on with it being life like painted.
In fact, terrified the absolute living piss out of everyone who looked at it that, 1. The busdriver made me climb in and out of the back of the bus so I wouldn't walk by her with it, 2. The Latin teacher, rather than keeping it with the rest of the year's projects, requested I take it home the same day I turned it in, 3. Got an instant A+, and 4. Joined the Horrors in the garage (a small collection of inventions and projects my father refused to let stay in the house because they were too disturbing)
Oh my word. That’s hilarious. I’d call that project a huge success 😂

Nothing in that room of that garage should ever see the light of day again. If we're all lucky, that bust and everything else in there will stay silent and unmoving until the sun cosumes the earth.
I have since learned I am supposed to ask "Should I" rather than "Can I" when it comes to my projects and ideas, and I would really rather that lesson not go to waste by giving anything in there a chance to escape....unless I have to...because I'm throwing something else in there.

adding different types of snakes, the fact that some of them were babies and you were more gentle, and others were grown up was SO smart!

Makes me think of the bit in Wolf Children where the kids get sick and the mom is standing in the intersection looking between the hospital and the veterinarian, unsure of where to take them.

For mythical beings who have more animalistic traits (gorgons, werewolves, nagas, centaurs, harpies, mermaids, etc.), I would think there maybe a special type of profession that's just for them. People who study all types of mythical beings, and takes care of them however they may need. But if something were to happen and you need the next best thing, I would say pet groomers and veterinarians.
Snakes are my favorite animal so even though I was working on not laughing out loud at how funny this is, its also nice that you were being so respectful of my snakes and our hive mind while understanding each have their own special needs.
You are a really good actor especially with how good your facial expressions convey "I cannot effing believe I'm doing this. Be nice to the customer. Be nice to the customer. Don't be prejudice. Just treat them with the same respect - - what the hell is happening" Then actually getting mostly comfortable. That was adorable.
I do enjoy these niche ASMR videos where it's a completely bonkers idea for a roleplay but the performer is committed to the bit and... you played it end to end. Well-done.

This is probably the best role play I’ve ever seen. Your facial expressions, the desperate attempts to be polite, the getting more confident as the video goes on, all made for a really unique personal attention trigger. This was amazing, I can’t wait to watch it a million times 😍

I think I've already seen the roleplay 5 or 6 times, but it's just the perfect mix between funny and hypnotic. The sounds aren't from this world, just marvelous 💜

Great video! I love when things aren't overexplained and just hinted at, like that comment about the glasses staying on. Also very inclusive of the salon to offer a special package for three individuals in the whole world, considerate!
All these fascinating facts about gorgons and their snake care made me start thinking of even more questions:
If there were male gorgons, would their beards also be snakes?
A followup to that one is whether it's only the hair on the head that is snakes or...?
Do the snakes attach to the scalp along the belly, with the heads and tails both visible, or do they grow out of the scalp without a visible tail?
Do the snakes need to feed?
Do gorgons use the snakes for practical things, like turning pages in a book? Can they grab on to things hard enough to help gorgons climb? Can they be used as snorkels and/or periscopes?
There is of course a whole slew of questions about the whole petrification thing but I'll leave that for now.
Bonus question: what are the gorgons' favorite cheese?

As a snake mum I died at the walk in 😂 just the look of oh 😳 was fantastic 😂❤ and I’m diggin the “pity” with Medusa 😂 I was like that is not how I would describe how that went but sure 😂 (I’m a spiritualist with a bunch of Greek influences) and nice references to Medusas sisters because in one version of her myth she was always a gorgon as opposed to being transformed into one love that ❤
