Disassembly Huge fan

This is an upright fan that 'er indoors imported about 2 years ago. This year it started to make a real racket. It was noisy last year but this year was beyond just noisy. I dismantled it and found it was a fan designed to work for a few weeks only. While it was mostly pretty well made, the important bits had been sabotaged deliberately by the manufacturer.
