  • Thanks for stopping by. This is my absolute favourite track from this album and I’ve been so keen to get back and rerecord it. A fair few details I missed on my first try. Super stoked with my take of MKH’s dual guitar solo.

This song is heavily underrated and one of my favorites as well...no surprise that you're here covering it, totally worth a perfect cover.

I never noticed the lead guitar in the chorus until now.
As always, amazing playing and amazing hair.

It’s mixed a little lower than usual, I even played it completely wrong on my first cover of this song in 2017. I think because of the amount of vocal layering that is going on in the chorus it’s kinda in the background

Whenever I go back through trivium’s discography I rediscover riffs that are jus they’re own league of heavy yet melodic / metalcorish. Imo trivium’s at their best when they’re writing riffs with 7 strings. Don’t get me wrong I love the albums ember to inferno ascendancy & in waves, as well as songs like Strife, Feast of fire & shattering the skies above they all slap hard as hell. But something about those 7 string riffs, Shogun/Court of the Dragon/silence in the snow/the crusade jus something about them. I unconsciously start making a stank face over the riffage, bobbing my head along, then after the song I come to your channel to see if it’s playable for my mortal hands to learn. You’ve helped me learn a ton of songs jus cause a lot of tabs online have issues somewhere, and I jus wanna say thanks my man, your channel is criminally underrated and I don’t think anyone else has covered more trivium than you besides Matt and Corey themselves, keep it up man! 🤘 Love the Death covers too!

I understand, I Like more the 7 String Trivium Stuff, I think that's why people Say Shogun and now In The Court of the Dragon are the best Trivium Albums (as Well as The Sin and The Sentence)
