Even though i'm probably talking to the void. Some small bits to add about the Taipan anti piracy/hostage rescue: 1.) It was a Lynx helicopter at that time, not a NH-90 2.) The operator that was injured falling off the fastrope happend after they first landed on the containers (as shown in the video and picture), when they decided to get down off the containers onto the deck. It was decided they fastroped from 'the middle' (helicopter hovering above with the rope hanging down to the deck right next to the container), because they entered the rope in the middle it still had some slack in it which made them freefall a bit and then come to a sudden halt as the rope is fully tensioned. This operator was carrying some specific heavy equipment in his bag and the freefall + weight janked him off the rope.

HNLMS Tromp sailes as today to take up command as flagship of the SMNG1 ( standing maritime NATO group : one of 4 permanent maritime NATO groups) ) for all of 2025 under dutch commodore Arjen Warnaar ( relieving danish commodore Thomas Stig Rasmussen ) by patrolling Nordsea, Eastsea and the Atlantic .
The way Thales is pronounced in the video is almost like snails, but with an English Th instead of sn. That’s not how it is pronounced in Dutch (although it’s a French company). We say Ta-less, with the emphasis on less. I believe the French pronounce it the same.
Thank you, you are right. But like I say in my descriptions: As English isn't my first language, I've been using AI voiceovers to share my passion for military. While I'm aware that AI voices might not be everyone's cup of tea, they've made it possible for me to balance my full-time job with my passion for creating content. It is possible that in the near future I will start making my own voiceovers. Unfortunately, even though I try to enter the pronunciation as best as possible, some words are pronounced a little less naturally. The voiceovers are a big improvement for the channel and also the first thing I want to tackle, but since it is a hobby project, it is not going as fast as I would like.
