OMG Cathy WOW. What a Stunningly Gorgeous Card!! Ya know I’ve seen the stamp, stencil and dies used by a few gals but this is the first time I’ve actually seen them used and I’m wowed with what you created I’m talking jaw dropping awe……I love the way you explained everything and took you time showing how to achieve your completed creation and girl you created one Artistic Masterpiece!! I use my die cutting spatula to lift the corner of the stencil and the cardstock to get them off the sticky mat. I also bought extra sticky mats and cut to fit inside my MISTI - no more tape or magnets - and this weekend I added an A2 panel UNDER the sticky mat in the middle - I can line the panel I want to stamp in the middle with the one underneath every time because I can see it through the sticky mat! No more magnet corner pieces either! I ink blend on it, too. I LOVE the sticky mat. I bought extra because I’m scared they will disappear … TFS.
Oh Cathy, that is just beautiful. I just made a couple of layered flower cards just the way you did by leaving the stamp in the misty and used versa mark and gold embossing powder to color my outline. Love these layering bundles. Make me look like I know what I am doing
Love the card Kathy! I love Pinkfresh products so much. The stamp/stencil/dies combos are so wonderful. I have a few washi tape sets that are just gorgeous from Pinkfresh. Love the florals in this card. So cute! TFS!! ❤❤❤
And the gold pearls………LOVE! I have those pearls from Pinkfresh. I used them on a 10-card video I did on Christmas cards this past December. They are so pretty.
Cute card! I remember when you first got your Gemini Jr. and you took my suggestion of putting it on a lazy susan. Nice that our new one can come that way!
Another beautiful project. I am inspired to do this. I have been so nervous to try. I have a die cut and stencil set. I am going to give it a go. It’s only paper!!!! Thank you.
Thank you for another great tutorial! Love the arrangement you made. It is really beautiful card!! I'm becoming a fan of sets that include stencils with the stamps and dies.
Hi Cathy, I follow you on IG and I receive your newsletter...Love it! I had to stop by to see the video on the process. I am now a YT subscriber as well. Love the sticky mat. Its on my wishlist. Absolutely beautiful! Hugs
@@czdesign that's amazing, I have just joined the group, so glad we were both able to pay it forward..... Thank you so much Cathy for facilitating that xx
what a beautiful card you created! I love the colors you used. I do have a question please. Would you please share with me the shelves and inserts you used to hold your card stock? Where did you purchase them? I would appreciate your help. Thank you. I'm looking forward to more of your videos.
Oh yes! the shelfs are inserts for IKEA Kallax from Stamp and Storage: www.stampnstorage.com/8-5x11-max-for-ikea/ And the plastic inserts to separate my cardstock are here: amzn.to/3NOa1iO
What a great tip to stamp with the black again at the end just to define the outline over all of the inking you did. 💡⭐!!! Question . . . where is your white glass work surface? I checked to see if Tim Holtz' comes in white, but I only find it in black. TH's is on my wish list, but I think white would be more bright and pleasant to work on.
Oh, this is from Glassboard Studio! And i have a discount code you can save 20%! Mine is 18 x 24, but they have other sizes. My code is CZDESIGN20. Here is the link: ldli.co/e/3omzx53
I am not sure just yet, only because I noticed that for me, the flipping action of the plate didn't feel great on my wrists. I have issues from years of working on a computer, and some repetitive movements don't help the matter. So… i think it's a great tool, it just might not be for me. : )
If you could only buy one ink pad brand which brand would you buy? I’m having a hard time deciding which brand and colors to start with…any help is greatly appreciated.
Well, that is a tough question! The two brands I know best over the past 7 years of making cards are Gina K. Designs and Simon Says Stamp (their Pawsitively Saturated ink line). Both of these brands are dye ink, though the Simon is a formula with a slightly different viscosity. Both stamp beautifully, both ink blend beautifully. You could not go wrong with either, and I would start by picking out a nice rainbow of colors in Roy G. Biv order! (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet). You can do so much with that selection!
What I usually do is score, and then fold as i pick it up. If that makes sense? I only flipped it BEFORE i scored, as there was a bit of ink on the paper!
Hi Sharon! I list all of my supplies in the description box here on the video! Love the card! So cute! I notice you are not using the whole Stamp Wheel. Wouldn't you recommend it?

I’m thinking the way you stamped was genius. Ensures some good contact on the wheel.

Thank you so much! I’ve ordered some gina k mini cubes in rainbow colors before I commit to the larger pads. 😊
I noticed you flipped your card stock when you were going to score it…is there a correct way to fold after scoring?
Jennifer M says..... turn the valley into a mountain
What I usually do is score, and then fold as i pick it up. If that makes sense? I only flipped it BEFORE i scored, as there was a bit of ink on the paper!
