The animation is absolutely SPECTACULAR and that’s what captivated me. Tbh I wasn’t sure if Vicktor kissed Yuri..but when I rewatched it I was like wait whaaaaaa
I like to think he coached him for one last year, went back to skating and Yuri never retires. They just have healthy competition with each other and inspire one another (and eff on the side of course)
I have never watched this anime, but I adore the opening song & listen to it pretty often while driving, on my “Anime OP” playlist ( ◠‿◠ ) ♡ It sets my heart on fire So, this is one of the few times I’ve actually watched scenes from the show...& WOW...I cannot get over how incredible the animation is! It’s almost on par with Attack on Titan’s animation I guess it was born to make history! Heh, I guess I shouldn’t stop now 😉
You should definitely watch it! It's a really great anime with healthy lgbtq presentation, good plot, and it's loved by actual professional figure skaters :D
Movie teaser just came out, likely story focus on Victor. Should be on screen 2nd half of 2021, japan is still on some restriction for Covid so we may have to expect S2 to release only 2022. New characters! 😍
