1. If you are attending the wedding as a friend, then you must gift 30000 yen(15-17000 rupees)
If you are a older friend/relative then it will be from 50000 -1,00,000 yen(25-50 thousand rupees)
People who are even more close to,they will gift more than 1 lakh yen
2. Even numbered gifting is considered rude/unlucky for them
and number 9 is also considered rude
3.while gifting, you must use an envelope as shown in the video which is called goshugi.. This is available everywhere in Japan so no worries at all
Not only in Japan, even other countries have almost this kinda rules
