I read somewhere another guy who worked for HKS moved onto creating Apexi however true that maybe, I like HKS problem is there's too many copies around so I buy direct from Japan.
I desperately want to replicate the Top Secret Supra. The body kit, hood, wing, and wheels they put on it are perfect and exactly my taste. Even better with the gold paint.
Thing is, for a Top Secret car to be painted gold, it has to earn the right to. If the car say breaks a top speed record or win a race or two, then Top Secret will make it their representative car and paint it gold.
Can someone please explain to me who owns Smokey’s original v12 Supra ? Last video I seen it was owned by someone in Florida. But isn’t it sitting in the back of his shop in this video?
The thought was that the RB could be tuned for a flatter power and tourqe curve. Smokey seemed to have the idea that the 2jz had too violent a power delivery for the same output, making it unsuitable for top speed runs.
this is the original V12 supra from 2007. Smokey has built several supras over the years. This V12 was sold at auction last year to a US buyer. The gold RB26 supra is in Abu Dhabi in original form

3ys late, but at the time when he made those swaps, 2JZs didn’t have that much aftermarket support, unlike the RB platforms.
