'The Killing of a Journalist' - an OCCRP Documentary (TRAILER)

Directed by OCCRP’s Matt Sarnecki, “The Killing of a Journalist” tells the story of the 2018 murders of OCCRP’s Slovak colleague Ján Kuciak and his fiancee, Martina Kušnírová. Investigative journalists used leaked police files from the murder investigation to uncover vast corruption at the highest levels of Slovak society.
The film had its European premiere at the 56th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic on July 2022 and will be widely available soon.

I am Slovak, thank you for producing this film with real authentic footage. I believe that thanks to this, this case wont be forgotten! I hope many nations will see it. It is such a disgusting case and it should be well known as a warning so that it doesn't happen again anywhere. Not only justice was violated in our country, but as a country we failed to allow this at all. They lied to us, robbed us and lived a life that we ordinary people call the underworld (drugs, abuse of poor orphans, taking advantages of high status, money laundering etc.) We have also film about this all - "SVIŇA" I believe in better Slovakia because when we hold hands, we are strong! Authentic videos from the demonstrations are very emotive for me. Pray for Kuciak because he wanted the truth for us.

But according to court rulling this documentary is fake news fabulation. Kochner was aquited due lack of evidence and Lipshits's story was fake. Right? So are you thanking them for producing this baseless bull manure? Shame on you

Recently a reporter from Maharashtra state of India was murdered for he publishing news on some factory project which is now in progress in the konkan regions of Maharashtra state of India. He was run over by car and the person driving has connections to the people from politics.please we need a extensive support and presence. I pray for everyone's good health and better future.
