There's an app called xender and it can share files to another phone even if they don't have the app installed. It does it through the app and the receipent's web browser [every phone has a web browser] and it does it offline (no Internet required) and its so far the best way to transfer files from Android to iPhone and vice versa. It does it through WebRTC It's a much better implementation than Samsung's current one of uploading the files. Does Samsung know the cost of data plans in the country to be sharing files via uploading 😂
I am the only Samsung in my house & 3 have iPhones, when I share pix I have to use quick share or the pix will be blurry on their end. They do hate having to download them once received though. With the last update Samsung did to this app now you have to send quick share links individually instead of groups. I did find a workaround but takes more steps. I wish family share album work so I could avoid quick share.
Nearby Share + Quick Share = became slower compared to the original past Quick Share (non-Googled). Past Quick Share can send files through the highest Wi-Fi GHz possible (even set to 2.4GHz in hotspot settings), and now this has become slower to share with, ehich isn't using highest GHz of my Wi-Fi. That's why I shifted to Cloud storages instead of Local file management without depending on QuickShare. May be due to Android v13/12 on our both M52/M51 is my doubt.
I remembered that one day you made a video about compressing video file. You compared an app with Samsung video compressing but the app does well. I didn't remember that app name. So could you please kindly tell me the name of that video compressing app?
On my S24 Ultra, the Galaxy Store is not updating or downloading any apps. I’m on app version "4.5.81.7", which I assume is the latest, and after performing a factory reset, the issue remains the same. 😐 Is there an ongoing issue with the Galaxy Store? I’m unable to update multiple apps after the reset. Google play store is working fine. No connection errors noticed.
Easy peasy - just travel a week or so with friends and then try to share everything at once) Especially if you made all your content in an insane 200 MP/8K.🤯
While this information is helpful, I can't help but ask how often people share files. Seriously, I can count on one hand the number of files I've shared in an entire year. This amounted to a couple of pictures I sent to my wife. I just don't run across situations where I'm sharing any files with people.
Actually there will be so many users who use these kind of features which we won't even know. Each feature caters to different set of customers. Even I don't use link sharing so often but this was Useful a couple of times when I had to share huge files to my cousins abroad. I didn have to look for any alternative, just shared it through link sharing in few seconds
I've never been near to share 5GB one day, but still it's a nice feature to get even more, maybe someone will be using all of its potential

I used to quickshare photos on my Samsung TV. After cooperating with nearby share I can't see my TV anymore

The best shareing feature was wifi direct and as all good things samsung removes it from one ui 3 forward
