Both look incredible! The 1/4 was based on a comic cover so it’s not 100% accurate to the movie, but still looks great. But the 1/3 is a masterpiece of a statue, makes me wish I saved up money for it instead of buying so many other stuff 🤣
Cool seeing them together for size comparison. Didn't buy 1/4 and doubt I buy the 1/3. Rather wait and get Beserker Definitely and possibly Scar. These 1/3 are the definitive pieces for sure.
Wow, this thing makes the 1/4 look small. And those of us who own the 1/4 know that in reality it's pretty damn big! I love the 1/4, it gets a lot of undeserved critisim, presumably from people who have never seen it in person. But it's a fantastic statue. The 1/3 however is something else, a true centerpiece.
Great comparison. For the most part I’m all ¼ scales but this is a big difference. Just need so much more room with larger scale pieces. And a bigger wallet. 🙂. Great review.
Thanks mate! And i fully understand your situation. For me it's a total different game now entering large scale statues coming from mainly 1/6 figures. I still want to collect 1/6, but probably spice it up with some more larger statues...but everything under control, as space is rare. :-)
TOP Video The Jungle Hunter is a brutal masterpiece!! I have also pre-ordered but here in Germany we always have a much longer waiting time I'm also considering putting the Hunter's Victim in the background, but I'm not sure about the scale Can you do me a favour? And measure the Hunter's Victim once So only the body in width & length from foot to head and foot to hands Thank you very much
Thanks for the comparison ! The 1/3 is an upgrade in every way but the base is so uselessly oversized and the price is the double. So all that considered I would vote in favor of the 1/4 which is on top of that more dynamic!
Minute 4:18 do you think that material will hold up well as the years pass?? I have this on pre pre order but I also own the hot toys version and for the hot toys version predators trousers or whatever you call that are tearing up. I know theres no comparison as Prime 1 is top tier quality but I wish they would have maybe scuplted predators trousers on the prime 1:3 scale like the Big game cover art one. Or what are your thoughts on predators trousers ? Do you think it’s quality material that won’t tear up ?
You seem to be impressed by glossy wet looking paint. Just purchase a can of high quality satin or semi-gloss polyurethane (for example Min-Wax brand, either water-based or oil-based) and apply a very thin coat by brush, takes about an hour or so....super easy, and less is more. And, oil-based polyurethane can also be used to preserve the fake leather mixed-media materials often used on these statues which will otherwise disintegrate over time. For that, use satin or flat (if you can find it) and let it soak in from the back side, and just apply a thin coat to the top side of the leather. It will stiffen the leather considerably, making it into something more like plastic, but it will be preserved for eternity.
My bad. I checked again and your right, but it's a different metal grade for sure. The Big Game wristblades feel in direct comparison "cheap" to the JH one. Sorry for the confusion.
Maybe it's just me, but I feel that the Big Game predator head looks more realistic than the Jungle Hunter head. I don't own either, I'm just using your video comparison. The Jungle Hunter head colors are too extreme, it's like having the color saturation jacked all the way up to 10, and consequently the overall effect just looks toyish, more like a plastic Neca figure. The pink coloration of the mouth on the Big Game predator head seems more movie accurate than the redish mouth color used on the Jungle Hunter head, and the Big Game predator was not even intended to be movie accurate. That's saying something. And of course, the dark brown stain on the teeth and mandible tusks is way overdone on the Jungle Hunter head, whereas on the Big Game predator head it's perfect. It's interesting however, that the colors on the prototype Jungle Hunter appearing on Prime 1's website appear more movie accurate, so it's possible that it's just your video capture that has made the colors look over-saturated. If the color inaccuracy is not an artifact of your video, then Prime 1 decided to alter the colors on the production statues versus their original prototype, perhaps to make it look more vivid, at the expense of not being movie accurate.
Hey, the colors are def. more vibrant...maybe the bright lighting in my vid accentuated that even more. I posted some comparison fotos on Facebook: facebook.com/photo/?fbid=614045404060398&set=pb.100063648309829.-2207520000 i think the added gloss also pushes the saturation.
That's insane! You could even pose the hanging victim next to the 1/3 jungle hunter since predators are usually a lot bigger than normal sized humans.
Insane, so glad I sold my Big Game to make room for this piece.
This looks awesome!
Thanka for making this video! I thought the Cover Art was big, and I knew the JH was even bigger, but seeing them together blew my mind!

Amazing comparison Andre, please comparison with you Sideshow maquette, fantastic video. Congrats bro
What.. the hell.. it makes the Cover art version look like a tiny comic shop statue😳

Should I get the Prime 1 Jungle Hunter statue? I own 0 statues and this would be my first. It will be $3700 shipped. Thanks
1:3 looks so much better in every way.
Amazing comparison. Do you think you could to a video on adjusting the dreads on the 1/3 ?
Not anymore, as i dismantle the whole video setup now. But I'm sure someone else will cover this!
Ahairdryer on the lowest setting will allow you to adjust his dreads ever so slightly

The bigger the better. 👍
1/4 just got owned!
True but it,s still an excellent piece to hav in your mancave
There is no comparison, 1/3 Jungle hunter destroys the big game piece in every way. It is the definitive predator piece.

Only collect 1/4 so I’m happy with my big game. For sure 1/3 is far superior and so is the price tag 😂

What is the height of portrait stand with a portrait on it . Much appreciated
Hi! 24cm 😊 thanks for watching!
@@Xenom0rph thanks man helped me out a lot
You’re wrong. The big game jungle hunter knives are metal. Not plastic.
DX 1/4? 1/2
If only it were 1/3 scale, I would have bought it (wrinkles on the legs is something I can get over)

How ugly this creature is, but I'm so obsessed with them that my main collection is predator 😂
The skull and spine dont look good. Need more bone and less ketchup. The 1/3 scale they forgot the blood drip on the ground too.
The blades are metal on both of them...not plastic on big game
