- While coming off M57 northbound Junction 2, two unmarked Volvo's simulate a stop on a "bandit" vehicle from Merseyside Police, but the rear Volvo rear ends the bandit vehicle.
All 3 vehicles then pull over and debrief, I alert them to the fact I have footage, and was told I'm not needed.
Skip to 0:30 for the action
Looking at how the blue BMW was holding an off side position for the slip and trying to close the gap I suspect this was a close protection course rather than a bandit run. The Volvo did a sneaky lane 2 to 1 right on the slip using the luton as cover and then it was too late he split the No1 and No2 cars perfectly. Then did it again, perfectly tbh, on the run up to the A57.
Thats an interesting one
Hey there, is it okay to feature your clip on our social networks? It will be credited in the description and with a watermark on the video
Of course, no problem.
That went well.
I knew it when the BMW used the blinkers I was ahh shit its going down
😂 the footage would’ve been useful to them really, but hey. They ain’t interested in people’s perspective.
You: I alert them to the fact I have footage, and was told I'm not needed.
Me: Yeah, because they don't want any record of the traffic collision.🤣🤣🤣
All of their vehicles have telematics and cameras on board regardless.
Hi Andrew Boyle, hello,
can I use this video on my channel?
Any comment about what or where did this happen?
Thanks and stay safe.
Yes you can use as long as you credit me, and the location is in the description
Bet there were lots of Terry F*ckwitt comments on the Police Driver Training Car Radios
Hello Andrew Boyle. I would like to ask if I can feature your video "Dashcam Merseyside Police Training Accident (10/11/2023)" for my new episode of compilations on my social networks? Thanks in advance!
Of course you can, with a credit to me.
@@andrewboyle1978 Yes, I will credit as usual. Thank you so much!
I dont think that suv should of exited infront of the bmw like that
Hey!
May I have your permission to use your dashcam clip in a compilation?
Linked and credited.
Thanks!
Of course, as long as you credit us.
Sure, Thank you!@@andrewboyle1978
Hello mate, can i use for my new compilation please ? With credit, thanks and have a good day.
Yes, of course
Highly trained. Yeah, totally. 😂😂😂😂
The person being trained is a trainee.
Amazing that when it is us driving we would be done for careless driving but when it is them it is an accident !...Book Rule & Two springs to mind !!
That makes little sense....how often are you having to practice T-PAC manoeuvres on the motorway? I know I never have.
These comments just get stupider and stupider every time. I’m glad there’s at least some sensible people left.
Because they are authorised to do TPAC training and their ability to drive in an advanced manner will determine if they pass the course and can engage in such activity outside of the training course.
Hahahaha ...Remember these are highly trained professional T-Pac drivers !!!......the sad thing is the people of Merseyside have to foot that bill !!!!
You wanna try it before you make stupid comments like that. The object is to get as close to the rear bumper as you can to minimise reverse ram damage - that takes some doing even at low speed because the target vehicle does not brake smoothly and give advertise in advance what they’re going to do. Training tries to be as realistic as possible. Here’s the thing - those ‘highly trained’ drivers have usually spent part of their career attending numerous collisions by normal members of the public, who can’t drive in normal conditions without hitting something. Just saying……
Key word in the title of the video - training. They aren't highly trained yet.
The bill is footed by all tax payers as well. Moronic comment.
@Andrew Boyle Hi, could I use this clip on my channel, linked and credited as before
Of course you can, thanks
@@andrewboyle1978 Cheers mate 👍
Training accident?
Well I don't think the plan was for the rear Volvo to rear end the SUV...as per the description
@@andrewboyle1978 how do you know they were training?
Because all 3 vehicles involved were unmarked Merseyside Police vehicles.
@@andrewboyle1978 ohhh ok I'll have to take your word for it then.
@@andrewboyle1978 I also never realised if you pressed on the title you got a big description! 🤣🤣 for years I've read "link in the description" but always wondered what they were on about 😣
